Captain's Log. February 14, 616.

A run-in with pirates today! Sighted off the starboard bow right after 6 bells. The Queen of Terreli engaged quickly while the three merchant ships crowded sail in an attempt to distance themselves.

Although she took some heavy blows, we were pleased to see the Queen victorious over the pirate cruisers by 9 bells. She caught up with us just before dark and we resumed our course.

I love micro ships! :pir-grin: So of course, this was great fun. Constructive criticism is welcome! Thanks for looking!

Good job of modeling the specific ships. And I love those firing broadsides!

Great concept all around of having each member of the run model a different part of it.

You did an excellent job with all those ships. It's great to see all those cannons firing, and the water technique is excellent. The plates stacked sideways do an excellent job portraying the sea.

Congratulations on fighting off all those pirates.

Great micros! Nice idea to do a collaborative series of builds too. Its amazing how so few pieces of Lego (just 7 on Fenix!) can still convey a story. Very clever use of the pieces.

Very nice outcome build Kai, as others have mentioned, the water is superb, and the broadsides - particularly on the Queen of Terelli - turned out excellently as well! pirate_wink.gif

Love it, really nicely set up, all our ships are really well represented.

Great job!

Thank you! I had fun trying to capture the distinctive look of each ship at this scale.

Wow, great action scene! It turned out really well in micro form. All those different ship designs are nice. This is a great way of showing what happened. Good work. :classic:

Thanks! Action can be tough to depict at this scale so I was really glad to find a good way to portray the cannon fire!

Lovely micros, and great action-scene!

Thanks Titus!

Thanks! I wanted to use those tiles here but figured face up would be to large for a micro.

Thank you! That's what I love about micro scale - it doesn't take tons of pieces, just a bit of patience!

i am still laughing about your micro versions of the actual ships!!!!!! Great job!! pir_laugh2.gifpir_laugh2.gif

pirate_laugh2.gif Thanks!

Very fine. I also like the way you did the sea - the tiles work out well this way!

Thanks Captain Braunsfeld!

Thank you Garmadon!
