MagPiesRUs Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) Here's another MOC-painting thing :-$ This time it's from a box of plastic model soldiers.. ...And here's mine! 8- Edited November 28, 2007 by TinyPiesRUs Quote
Axle Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I'd say the model box is a real painting :-P I like it and the 2 redcoats wthout redcoats could be Captains, or Generals or somethin'. Why have all these paintings suddenly come up? Quote
Asuka Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 A very lively and decent scenery, well done! :'-) Quote
Col. Whipstick Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Notice how TinyPies's painting MOC's always seem to feature Frenchmen getting bashed about... Not that I'm complaining X-D Quote
Capn Frank Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 ...Not that I'm complaining X-D Careful Col. Don't want the emperor of france to be mad at you X-D Great MOC (err. painting ;-) ) again TPRU *y* P Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Very nice again, you have captured the scene well! British ON? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 28, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 28, 2007 You really have a good artistic eye for taking these pictures. I also like the one with the palm tree. This scene look very much alive and in motion. Well done! I've added this one to the Index: MOCs based on paintings. Keep'em coming ;-) Quote
woody64 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I'd say the model box is a real painting :-P Since most of the Italieri boxes were done by Guiseppe Rava, I would point him out as artist with a question mark. I would also do that for the Austrian gunner scene, since a lot of paintings on the side I got it was also done by him. Andreas Quote
Col. Whipstick Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) Careful Col.Don't want the emperor of france to be mad at you X-D Great MOC (err. painting ;-) ) again TPRU *y* P Bonaparte should be more concerned with his own cook than all the forces of the British Empire, anyone else know about how he was deliberately lead poisoned by his staff in the pay of the French Bourbons? Anyway, he's only scary if he can learn to swim across the Channel and he couldn't back then so I doubt he could now. Edited November 29, 2007 by Col. Whipstick Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Thanks for the feedback everyone :-) Notice how TinyPies's painting MOC's always seem to feature Frenchmen getting bashed about... Not that I'm complaining X-D Hey, you're right :-$ I was about to do another of this one too: :-D I found where it is from too. It's the Italeri Historic Battle set: Waterloo 1815. So this is from the battle of Waterloo. Once again, thanks X-D Quote
Col. Whipstick Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Keep up the good work my man... red blood gushing out of blue uniforms! *sweet* Quote
The Admiral Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 That is a nice moc, but you're wrong Whipstick, the French are winning. Notice how three of the horses have guns pointed at them... their riders are about to get their steeds blown out from under them. The painting is another story however with more calvary coming through the gate. The French minifigs will be eating horse meat for lunch. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 12, 2007 Governor Posted December 12, 2007 This time it's from a box of plastic model soldiers.. So what do the models inside the box look like? Quote
woody64 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 So what do the models inside the box look like? The Italeri set contains the British Scots Greys. For a review see: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review...u=ITA&code=6001 The set itself is called Waterloo 1815, so the result of the battle (winner) should be clear :-) Quote
zouave Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Great word tprs. I can't find anything that doesn't seem out of place with the picture. Quote
