Dubbadgrim Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) Some orcs inspect two Avalonian captives; brought to them as a gift from a rugged but diplomatic mountain troll. A freebuild for Nocturnus. Edited March 31, 2016 by Dubbadgrim Quote
dathil Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Great snotted rocks and I love the detail in the walls!! Also the wooden topping is very well done. The troll is awesome as well, can we see him from front? Quote
Petric_G Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) Nice MOC. I like how the foliage is growin in the wall! Where is this troll from? Edited March 28, 2016 by Petric_G Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Just one pic? But it is pretty fine. Excellent composition and textures. Quote
Jacob Nion Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Superb build! The walls look great, I especially like how you integrated the leaves. Also great sense for detail. The way the skeletons are attached gives the scene something very orcish. The timbered sections round up the fortification in a perfect way. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Nice build! I believe the troll is an old Harry Potter one? Quote
bricklover Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 The rock work is great! I like the landscape and wall as well. Quote

Gideon Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Great build overall with some very nice details! That's a very fitting troll for Nocturnus, and good idea having him drag those Avalonians! I like the leaves in the wall as well Quote

Great snotted rocks and I love the detail in the walls!! Also the wooden topping is very well done. The troll is awesome as well, can we see him from front? Thanks guys, I might take a couple of close up shots before I pull it apart. Will update this thread if I do. Stellar build, per usual. The rocky base, and path combo look great, and I really like the mix of wood and stone in the walls A few pieces from my Historica Husbandry prize went into this As did the custom orc (top middle). BrickCurve Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Great job , I feel like the wooden balustrade needs to be a little bit higher though, although that may just be me. Quote
Blufiji Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Great build. The irregular base works well here, the texturing is amazing and you've pretty much captured the ruins perfectly. Quote
Robin Creations Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Nice! I quite like the wood on the top Edited March 29, 2016 by Robin Creations Quote
