Lord Of Pies Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Wow, that is pretty cool, especially for limited parts!! Thanks for sharing it with us. It would look nicer in brown! Quote
El Bucanero Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 That's inventive, nice find! Cool what you can do with those creator sets lately. The colour scheme makes me doubt wether this is meant to be an Age of Sail clipper or a modern days clipper though. But for the pieces he had it is nice. *y* Quote
Col. Whipstick Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Looks pretty cool, do we have a link to the original set? Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 I really like the yellow color scheme. I agree with Tiber on this one... :-D Just messing with you MR.Tiber. Quote
Capn Frank Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 What a nice looking mini-MOC. *y* It'll fit very nicely with the MOCs in Index of MOC Ships. X-D P Quote
Asuka Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Very nifty and sweet, cool find, oDDerFisken! *sweet* Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 30, 2007 Governor Posted November 30, 2007 EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! I don't like the colours. That yellow is too bright! Quote
El Bucanero Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 It seems like a mouse just crossed you and you're the elefant Mr Phes! X-D Well, you apparantly don't like the colours, but what about the design? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 30, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 30, 2007 This is such a cute little thing. I have a lot of admiration for people who can make something like this. Mr. Phes is right. The choice of colors is questionable. Quote
oDDerFisken Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Looks pretty cool, do we have a link to the original set? Think we do Folder with pics of the set 4939 Besides i'm agree that the colour is a bit aggressive, but i think it's so cool that it is made out of the set 4939.. which is yellow. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 5, 2007 Governor Posted December 5, 2007 It certainly puts 4939 to a very good use. The LEGO Group should immediately amend the box art to reflect this minimoc Clipper. Quote
Capn Frank Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 I own this set, and i loved all the 1x1 yellow slopes included and other yellow bricks. *y* Using a lot of the pieces in that set for a back burner project. 8-| P Quote
CVSPIS_CELIDVS Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Hello everyone! My name is Sing-how Tuo, the builder of the yellow clipper "Golden Fleece". CVSPIS_CELIDVS (Cuspis gelidus) is my nickname, and you may call me CC. I am from Kaohsiung City, a harbor in southern Taiwan. (Welcome to Taiwan! ;-) ) I play Lego since I was a child (1985-1996), and after my "dark age", I return as an AFOL in 2007. Now I am a member of Taiwan LEGO User Group (TWLUG), that also has a Pirate forum, where I first time post the clipper on. You can see the post here. (Sorry for traditional Chinese only, however, if you like, I can translate it in English for you.) I build some castle scenes, naval ships, and alternative models. Welcome to visit my Brickshelf gallery here. I also join the IMTP contest, and here is my entry . Thanks for your feedback. *sweet* -CVSPIS CELIDVS ECO SVM Quote
