Puvel Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Horatio joined the military after hearing about the wonderful New World. Plenty of new islands were discovered on a regular basis. There were beaches you’d dream of and adventures to be had. Not being a wealthy man, the only way he’d reach these places was joining up and hoping he’d be stationed in a nice and relaxed place. It started out great! The ocean was the bluest he’d ever seen and the stories of magnificent white beaches proved to be true as well. It truly was paradise. After a couple of weeks his mission was to keep watch on one of these beaches. Nothing ever happens on these patrols so Horatio and Private Dirk were happy to be on the beach. Sergeant Gregory then saw a sloop in the distance. Visitors were rare in these parts however a lot of trade vessels were lost after hurricane Helga. Maybe these were survivors of some sort. The sloop had 2 passengers, obviously some type of sailors. Sergeant Gregory: Halt! This is Corrington territory. State your business, sir. Redcap: Apologies, sir. We mean no harm! Our vessel was lost in the storm, we just want to send to send a message home. Redcap and Afroman then pulled out their guns and started shooting. Sergeant Gregory didn’t hesitate and open fired as well. Unfortunately private Dirk hadn’t expected real trouble so carried a saber rather than a firearm. This proved to be a deadly mistake. The beautiful white beach already ran red when private Horatio finally managed to grab a gun. Luckily Afromans aiming had been off. He couldn’t believe this just happened. How did paradise turn into hell so quickly? Quote

Captain Dee Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Violent entry! But it's very nicely built; the water and beach turned out really well and I like all those trees. I just wonder who those thugs were and what they were up to... Quote
