Mpyromaxos Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Citizens of Oleon welcome King Philip I and Queen Beatrice and wish them, long prosperity, health, happiness and good luck in their difficult task..!! Many people showing their love by giving them various gifts .. Like the blacksmith Bernard, who created a unique sword for the king, absolutely priceless, made with love, after several days .. A sword of incredible beauty that only a king could hold .. Vive le Roi! Quote
SilentWolf Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 This is a great build and definitely pots my blacksmith to shame. I particularly like the wall technique. Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Great idea! I really like the roof here and including a few chickens was very clever! Quote
Garmadon Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Very nice blacksmith shop, awesome roof and wall technique, and the armaments and furnace are excellent as well! The smoke coming out of the chimney and the pillow on which the sword rests are some great details too! I am afraid, however, that my sig-fig possesses an exactly identical sword! Quote

Where is your blacksmith? I haven't seen it! Great idea! I really like the roof here and including a few chickens was very clever! Tnk you very much! Look under your sword .. probably it's Chinese! There in Eslandola you get used to buy cheap imitations and to sell them expensive! hahahaha!! Tnk you very much! I'me glad you like it! Great build, I love that roof! Thank you! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Stunnig roof and smoke technique! Oh, did i also mentioned the walls? :-p Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Exellent - the "light smoke" is great. Haven't thought about that myself - hats off to you! Quote

Exellent - the "light smoke" is great. Haven't thought about that myself - hats off to you! Thank you! I hope i gave you inspiration! Quote
Bregir Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Nice smithy- the walls are very elaborate, as is the roof, and I like the "interior". A special sword for the king is a great idea. I am not a fan of the printed tiles at the back - it sort of looks... unfitting, as the rest is done in "plain" bricks. The smoke and all the weapons are cool too. Quote
azog Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I like how nothing is organized inside the shop! , great job Quote

When you say printed?? You mean the modified 1 x 2 brick that looks like real brick? Well if it's that, i put them because in a building that old, they use different materials that they find to build a blacksmith i believe! Quote
dr_spock Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Cool build. Roof and wall work good. On the other hand, looking at the state of roof, one would wonder if Oleon pay their royal sword makers. Quote
Elostirion Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Great scene with some nice details. The roof just looks fantastic, and the smoke works out really, really well in front of that grey background. Quote
Bregir Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I meant the brown printed tiles on the back, just below the roof. Their texture just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the build. But it is a very minor detail, and just my opinion :) Quote

We had a little bad economic period.. but now with king Philip.. we will build a Palace for Blacksmith! Great scene with some nice details. I wanted to make something else there, but because i had to dispel the roof to rebuild, I hide the flaws with them! Quote
Maxim I Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Excellent job on the roof! But I am very happy that I am not the blacksmith there :p it looks like the building will collapse rather sooner than later... Very smooth smoke btw, didn't catch it the first time Quote
Jacob Nion Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Great scene! That roof features an amazing texture. Really love that part. But also the interior of the forge is great with all the details. And I like how you did avoid any pearl gold inside so the single golden cutlass is perfectly fleshed out. Good job. Quote

Ayrlego Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Wow that is a really nice looking blacksmith and the idea of a presentation sword as a gift is very clever. Well done, a great entry! Quote

soccerkid6 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sweet roof styling with all the loose boards! The forge is also excellent, and I like the 'gift wrapping' for the sword Quote
