Anio Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Hi fellow, For several years, I do a lot of SW stuff. Many UCS models... But since last year, I am much more into City/Architecture stuff. For the exhibition "Histoire en Briques" ("History in Bricks" in English), I designed some of the buildings of Saint Quentin, a city in the North of the France. Note that you can visit that event till June 19th. The Town Hall, 11,000 parts. https://www.flickr.c...157663792237704 Town hall of Saint Quentin by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Town hall of Saint Quentin by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Town hall of Saint Quentin by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Town hall of Saint Quentin by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Can you see where I used Star Wars battle droid bodies ? :D The Theater, 12,500 parts. samlr Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 It's funny that there are no topics about this exhibition on Eurobricks. Someone should post the pictures of all the creations :-) Quote
ReplicaOfLife Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Magnifique! Truly astonishing models, especially the Town Hall & the threatre! Quote
L@go Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Yes, I think 'wow' is the only appropriate word. You did all these? They are brilliant. All of them. That microscale train is the star of the show for me, though. So neat! Quote
peedeejay Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Awesome stuff. My favorite is the theatre. Quote
GeoBrick Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Can you see where I used Star Wars battle droid bodies ? :D "These are not the droids you're looking for." I happen to pass through the region twice during my upcoming vacation. Just in case I manage to convince my traveling partner for a stop, could you post the address of this event please? I had no luck finding it on the site. Quote

Yes, they are all my design. Regarding the train, I am surprised how well received it is. I mean, it is not that impressive. Well, it may be funny. :) I happen to pass through the region twice during my upcoming vacation. Just in case I manage to convince my traveling partner for a stop, could you post the address of this event please? I had no luck finding it on the site. Sure. Espace Saint Jacques 14 rue de la Sellerie 02100 Saint Quentin FRANCE From Tuesday to Sunday, 14h-18h, till June 19th. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 These MOCs are absolutely fantastic. And each of them would deserve its own thread. Quote
Pakita Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I'm impressed. The Town Hall is absolutely amazing. Love the openwork decorations above the windows, especially. I'm not very into Architecture but I have to admit that your Basilica is great. What's the funniest is that I like The small train of La Mure the most. Looks very simple, but it's so stylish! Looks like an old-fashioned toy to me. I wanna have it on my shelf :D Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Too many (AMAZING) MOC in just one topic! The town hall and the theater are totally cool! Super! Quote
Japanbuilder Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Holy cow! That stuff is impressive! Love the mosaic of Napoleon crossing the Alps. Very cool as a LEGO mosaic. Tell your fingers it was worth it! Quote
danstraindepot Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 This is fantastic work. Congratulations! Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 The town hall is very impressive. Wonderful details and great part usage on the facade. I also like the theatre very much. Quote
Ex cinno Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Very impressive moc. Town hall and theatre are my favorites. Quote
Anio Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 Thank you all ! I think the Town Hall is also my favorite building. :) Tell your fingers it was worth it! Ok, I will do that. :D Quote

Patgeo Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 WOW! Amazing creations! Each one is better than the other! Congratulations! Quote
Redhead1982 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 These are really incredible MOCs! I find it challenging to replicate a real life building in minifig or microscale, yet you did just that. Some of the architectural details are really interesting, and there seems to be a few interesting building connections. I was intrigued by the angled half round structures on the basilica. It's hard to say which is my favourite, but the basilica and the train model are close to the top. It's not easy to build in microscale with so many details. I was also impressed by some parts. You used white windows with rounded top, which I didn't know existed in white, as well as horses in sand green. Quote
Anio Posted April 26, 2016 Author Posted April 26, 2016 Thanks. Sadly, the parts you mentionned had to be painted. :/ Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Everything is awesome! I especially like your minifig scale buildings, very convincing and detailed. The interior of the theatre is also a great bonus! Thanks, now I want to make a theatre too. Quote
