robinnilsson403 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 This is my entry for the coronation festivities, taking place in Breshaun. Le Parc du Philip, or Philips Park was hastily built when the mayor of Breshaun, Darlin Sisnera, received the news that the royal couple would visit his town. Even emissaries from Corrington has joined the crowd in the park to see the new king and queen. The citizens has flags in the nations colours and a couple of priests are ready to bless anybody who wishes it. Some protesters stand to the side, waiting to give their message that the natives in the new colonies should be left alone. Critics and comments are welcome! A few more pictures can be found at my Flickr page. Quote
TitusV Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Nice scene! Cool collection of figs, the tree and the podium looks well. I like the idea of the protesters Quote
robinnilsson403 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Nice scene! Cool collection of figs, the tree and the podium looks well. I like the idea of the protesters Thanks! To be honest, that's my first brickbuilt tree, that ain't just stacked 2x2 round bricks. It's hard to make anything organic. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 You've got a good crowed assembled there. Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 You've got a good crowed assembled there. Seconded! The minifigures and flags make this scene very lively! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 A nice selection of colorful minifigs, an imposing tree (you are definitely on the right road) and a nice podium. This is indeed a colonial park that awaits the arrival of his Majesty! Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Neat little park. I like those fences and the tree and podium area both look nice. The flag-waving crowd looks great, but I don't envy the priest and his armload. Good work. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (Just a detail: it should be "Le parc de Philip") Quote
