This is actually one of the most faithfully reproduced vinyards in our islands (we dont use stone walls though). The best grapes are produced in warm climates and when there is little humidity on the ground and sloped soil helps to achieve that exact conditions. Only thing i would comment is that i would also like to see the vines a bit taller. But this MOC is great and i must try this design myself too

Good representation.

Me too I would like to see taller ceps.

May I add a remark : in France we have great vineyards and we don't have such desertic fields, perhaps some little bushes here and there or some grass turfs could have been good to see too. But sorry, it is probably my French spirit speaking... :) :D

Good plantation all in all ! Brick on !

Good to see that reference, I didn't even know that vineyards could be like that. I'd still recommend to make them a bit brushier, and maybe a bit denser, but that is nitpicking. The whole design of the dry soil is just perfect. Inspiring.

Thanks everyone!: I specifically modeled it after the Canary Islands vineyards, I'm going to do some European style ones later.

Those will have vines growing along wires and stakes in the vertical.

The type of vineyard you've made, simulates nearly every arid island's vineyard style. In Crete in particular, we have both styles, depending on where the vineyard is situated but mostly we have the style that you just made.

First I thought it was looking a bit plain. But then I read the description and I must say it's great how you depicted the pdoblematic agricultural conditions and how to solve them. Very smart work. And the elevation feels very natural.

I'd never seen a vineyard like this before - great work and I really like how you faithfully researched and reproduced the details.

I never knew either that vineyards cold take this form, so this build is both educational and well executed. Fascinating!

Thank you everyone! I will try and add some scrub brush around the vines, and see how it looks. It's built on MILS terrain standards, so I'll be able to expand it into a larger plantation.
