[M-B06] Patrol Duty

With reports of unknown alien fleets coming from MANTIS ship captains a few sectors away, MANTIS had increased the number of patrol flights around Sorn. After taking some time to relax at his home on Torresta, Hawk had been assigned to Sorn to help protect MANTIS assets on the planet from possible alien attacks.

Hawk had been assigned a Alpha wing intercepter, one of MANTIS's best star fighters in the fleets armory. It is highly swooshable and heavily armed for a ship it's size.

With his ship refueled and reloaded, Hawk prepares to launch.

As you probably guessed, the alpha wing is based off the A-wing. It even has a place to store a wrench in the cockpit like every A-wing Lego set has had for some reason.

The cement mixer tanks look really nice the way you incorporated them into the wall with piping and girders around them The whole hangar bay in general looks quite functional.

Really cool scene. Looks very A-Wing but with some proper Mantis styling. I really like the ladder idea and will be using that for builds!

Great A-Wing and I like the angled rear vertical wings. The underside is very impressive and detailed too!

The shot without the A-Wing really shows off the great hangar!

Excellent build, Hawk! The angled wall of the hangar is superb, and as soccerkid said, the cement mixers work very well here

That alpha wing is fantastic! Star Wars stuff looks great when they are MANTISified. The hangar too is really well done.

The whole hangar was based around the cement mixer part. When I found them in my parts pile, I knew I had to use them in some way.
