Based on an idea I heard in the Nexo Knights sets discussion.

Backstory

When the Book of Monsters sent Beast Master to retrieve the Book of Revenge. He found it located at Junkton. The location were broken tech and no longer functioning Squire Bots were sent to be scrapped. It was run by only a single family but they were away at the time.

Beast Master found the Book of Revenge next to a inactive Squirebot and a discarded battery. Beast Master took the book but as he left he didn't notice the Squirebot's eyes open. Glowing red. The magic from the Book of Revenge combined with the nearby battery reactivated the Squirebot. Fueled by the Book of Revenge's magic. The Squirebot rebuilt himself into a stronger form. Naming himself the Mechromancer. He declared war on Knighton for scrapping him and would set to liberate his fellow Squirebots to start a robot revolution.

Mechromancer's staff is used to steal Nexo Powers and stores them on the Shield on his chair. Stolen Nexo Powers can be transferred to his robot army to power them up.

Full story in a later post.

For the idea that you are going for, I think the one with staff looks better, but both are nice.

To be honest, I think you should've showed this in the NK discussion thread instead, since it's only a minifig (mind you: I really do see them as 'proper' creations, but I'd only post them in a separate topic if incorporated in a vignette or larger).

Thanks. I think I'll go with a combination of both as suggested by samuraiturtle.

Edit: Updated first post with updated minifigure design and a small build

The Mechromancer is a pretty novel villain concept, and takes up the mantle of 'undead faction' perfectly in the context of Nexo Knights. Good work Takanuinuva!

Do you mind if I have a go at the concept?

Certainly. I need a backstory idea for him anyways. Edited by Takanuinuva

Personally, I'd call her (him?) the Mechamancer. It sounds slightly less awkward, at the cost of the necromancer name connection. Anyway, here's a minion for her, filling a zombie-esque niche.

mechamancer_minion_-_small.png

Remnants of battles fought by ancient kingdoms, these nigh-unstoppable machines were recovered from the marshes by the powerful Mechamancer. Remarkably fast and giving off shocks as it twitches randomly, they are highly dangerous to face in direct combat.

Cool addition. And I would think the Mechromancer would be male given the armored design and rather angry face. I'd rather keep the name as it is. As its easier to pronounce than Mechamancer.

Nice build, I'd love to see it in flesh(or rather, in bricks  ). As others have said before, it perfectly fills the Undead Faction role for Nexo Knights. Since he goes by the name Mechromancer, I imagine of someone who uses the knight robots who have fallen in battle or discarded by the Kingdom of Knighton, reconstructing his robot soldiers from their remains like a necromancer creates his undead army from the dead. Besides his undead-robot knights, perhaps he might even construct bigger ones that can go toe to toe with bigger guys like The King's Mech and Infernox. Also, I'm interested to hear whether he is allied to any one of the current factions or is independent and creates his own faction?

He is almost possible to make in real life. He just wouldn't have any printing and his right arm would have to use the sonic screwdriver in gold. The chair is much more possible but the stud shooter would be yellow as a black one doesn't exist.

And I like your backstory Idea. I had a thought that he originally was a bunch of discarded robot parts reanimated by the book of revenge. He would be independent and create his own faction to combat against the Nexo Knights.

Sorry for the double post but I've have a new moc to add to Mechromancer's forces. A large robot that could go toe to toe with Axl or Burnzie I don't have a name for it but It can be given Nexo Powers that were stolen from Mechromancer.

Mechromancer's army will consist of three main colors. Silver. Black and Trans Red. But with some parts in colors that Lego only produces in that color like pins and axles.

Another update. This time some landscape. I've also updated the first post with some updated coloring to Mechromancer and his chair.

Mechromancer built this tower so it would send out a signal that would cause all robots in the realm to come to him.

mechromancer8.png

It even has an action feature in it. Strike the top antenna and the sides fall over destroying the signal.

mechromancer9.png

I've also made a new evil Squirebot. This is an aerial shooting one (Aaron's bow piece works really well as robot claws)

mechromancer10.png

mechromancer11.png

Also a new addition to the larger robot. I've come up with the name Bolters for them. They have Bigfig hands but can turn them into gatling guns, A long blade or a mace. Here's a picture showcasing the hand and mace. There would be about 5 or so in the total army.

This might be the last update but I might have other ideas.

I've built up a decent base for Mechromancer. It consists of the tower. A crane with a cage and a conveyor belt leading to a spiked crusher. The total parts is 1016 which counts the minifigures and Bolters

The three components can be swapped around modularly (Like if you want the crane next to the crusher)

mechromancer23.png

I've also updated the controlled Squirebots so that they have different weapons. A Lance, Axe, Sword and Mace

mechromancer13.png

The Cage Crane (The cage is connected to the crane via a pin in Ldd but would be connected with string if built IRL)

Also a small turret that would auto fire at enemies

mechromancer14.png

mechromancer15.png

mechromancer16.png

A slight update to the tower as it now has a throne space for Mechromancer's Chair

mechromancer17.png

mechromancer19.png

The spiked crusher. Turning the wheel on the back makes the two halves come together. (Inspired by the door mechanism in the Assault on Hoth set)

The two conveyor belts are linked together and are used to send captured ones to be crushed

Tale of the Mechromancer

This story takes place between Season 1 and Season 2

Mechromancer set to rebuild all of the discarded Squirebots in Junkton. Reactivating each one with the same purpose. Revenge. Half of them were ground units who's arms were Swords, Axes, Lances and Maces. The other half were aerial units there arms replaced with energy cannons and there legs replaced with thrusters. Mechromancer also built 5 larger robots called Bolters. They had normal robot arms but could change them into a gatling gun. A large jagged blade or a chain mace.

While the battle at Knighton castle was taking place (Episode 10). Mechromancer and his rebuilt army set to build a large radio antenna. Once it was completed it would send out a signal to all Squirebots in the realm and have them come to him. The tower took a while to complete as by the time it was finished. The battle at Knighton castle was long over and the Nexo Knights were back to training while Jestro and the Book of Monsters were out looking for evil books.

Things were fine at the Fortrex. Clay was training with Macy. Lance was getting his feet rubbed by Dennis. Aaron was outside flying on his hover shield. Axl was preparing something with Chef Eclair. Ava was doing some file cleaning on Merlock 2.0 and Robin was testing out his shield with one of the Squirebots.

But things were going to turn bad. Mechromancer finally finished his tower. With an evil glint in his robot eyes. He activated his creation. The signal spread to the far reaches of the realm. Soon all Squirebots that heard the signal uncontrollably began walking towards the source. There eyes glowing red.

It was more noticeable at the Fortrex. Chef Eclair dropped a cake and left the Fortrex. Axl upset that the cake was ruined. Dennis immediately stopped rubbing Lance's feet and left. Lance complaining asking where he was off to. The worst was with Robin. The Squirebot he was with was holding the shield and dashed out the Fortrex carrying the shield with him.

Robin chased after the Squirebot but abruptly stopped as in the distance he saw various Squirebots all heading in the same direction. Robin immediately went to the others telling him what he saw. Lance believed him as Dennis wouldn't run off like that. At least not after the promise he made. Clay was skeptical but Aaron confirmed as he flew back into the Fortrex. He saw the same thing Robin saw.

Ava called everyone to the main room to show what was being broadcasted on the Knighton News networks. Herb came up on the screen reporting from several sources that Squirebots from all over the realm had just stopped what they were doing and just ran off. He went to cue Alice Squires for confirmation but the camerabot only showed a screen of Alice running in the same direction. She was acting the same as all the others.

Ava says they can track where the robots are going as she locks onto Robins' shield. The Knights head out to follow in the Fortex to find out what's going on.

Back with Mechromancer he watches as hordes of Squirebots come from all directions. His plan is working soon all of Knighton would be serving him. He took particular notice of one that was carrying a shield. Taking the shield from the robot. He went to analyze it. Noticing that it had the tech capable of accessing magic.

The Knights arrive at the location the signal was coming from. The scrapyard of Junkton. But it looked extremely different. There were still piles of scraps but now there was a massive black and silver tower in the center. They noticed all the controlled Squirebots and Aaron figures that the tower was causing all the Squirebots to be controlled. Axl went to go knock the tower down but was stopped by Mechromancer's Bolter bots.

Mechromancer appeared riding a robot chair with Robin's Nexo shield mounted to the front. Ava messages the knights saying that robot is giving off a powerful magical aura. Mechromancer says his name to the Knights and declares that they will not meddle with his plan. All the Squirebots including the controlled ones begin advancing towards the knights. The knights manage to knock back the Squirebots without damaging them to much but are being overwhelmed. Merlock suggests a Nexo power that would help.

Merlock sends over the ultimate armor power. The Knights power up and are ready to stop the robots. But suddenly the shield on Mechromancer's chair glows and the ultimate armor power is sucked from the knights shields and into Mechromancer's shield. Mechromancer says he managed to hack the shield and now can take any magic Nexo powers that the Knights download. Without there Nexo powers and with the robots still outnumbering them. The Knights attempt to retreat but are instead captured. The Fortrex is forced to retreat so that Ava and Robin aren't captured.

The Knights are held up in a cage suspend by a modified crane. There weapons and shields thrown into one of the scrap piles. Meanwhile Mechromancer broadcasts out to everyone in the realm with the help of controlled Alice Squires and her Camerabot. Mechromancer announces that the age of robots being servants is over and that he will take the throne of Knighton. The Knights are upset that they won't be able to protect the king and queen. However one of the Squirebots happens to climb up the crane and lets the Knights out. It turns out to be Robin disguised as a Squirebot. Robin says Merlock has a Nexo power that would help if Mechromancer stole it.

The Knights recover there weapons and shields but are caught by one of the Bolters. The robots surround the Knights again. However Robin's Black Knight Mech runs to the Knights. Robin get into the Mech and now the Knights have a bit more of a fighting chance. They hold off the Squirebots but there are still too many of them. Mechromancer appears in his chair saying its futile to fight. The robots will win. Robin says they weren't trying to win it just buy time. Merlock sends another Nexo power for the Knights. But Mechromancer expects this and steals it. However the power happens to be an EMP. Mechromancer and all the robots are suddenly shut down. Mechromancer is still active but can't move. Robin's Mech was upgraded to resist the EMP. With the Squirebots temporarily shut down. Robin uses his Mech's sword and slices the tower causing it to fall destroying the signal.

The EMP runs out and all the robots reactivate. The Squirebots are freed from Mechromancer's control. Only the Bolters remained loyal to Mechromancer. Mechromancer is enraged that his plans were foiled. He declares that he will rule the realm and is about to retreat but Axl slams his axe into Mechromancer's head cleaving him and his chair in half. With Mechromancer destroyed the Bolters are easily scrapped and Axl retrieves Robin's shield.

The Squirebots all go back to there regular robot lives and the Knight continue training waiting for Jestro and The Book of Monsters to attack again.

Overall a really cool concept for Nexo Knights. You should send this to someone working on the sets or show, like Tommy Andreasen. it might be considered for a set or the show.

I do have a tiny criticism. If you sit the Mechromancer on the seat, his staff blade looks very awkward next to the other 2 on the seat. There's 3 of the same piece on the chair, it doesn't really look right.

Thanks I don't use facebook or twitter so I couldn't exactly contact Tommy. But it would be really cool to see this idea. Maybe not as an episode but a non canon book?

As for the staff blade. There really isn't any other cool looking tech pieces that would work for the staff and I like the design they have on the chair. There is a clip on the side of the chair to store the staff.

Oh, that works as well. Maybe the things on the chair don't have to be that specific weapon, after all every time it's used in a set, it represents an energy construct of some kind. Maybe some other contraption-type weapon wold be a good place holder, or even just another weapon in general.

What i'm trying to say is it doesn't really look aesthetically pleasing like that, and I don't know if an official Lego set would have an arrangement like that either. I'd prioritize the weapon to have the technoblade weapon.
