Posted June 1, 20168 yr HMS Mardier’s Misft Mardiersmisfit by skaforhire, on Flickr In April, the Corrington Royal Navy took many vessels while running routine convoys, one of these vessels was the Mardier’s Misfit. Corrington also took many casualties in the same month, and now some of the captures are being refit in Corrington colors for duty in the Far Waters. DSC_2977 by skaforhire, on Flickr The now HMS Mardier’s Misfit is an odd vessel. Rumor has it that when she was part of the Mardier Fleet years ago she was captured by pirates. The pirate that had taken her thought it would be better to have two ships, so he sawed her in half and built up the middle ends. This gave her an odd look, When once a 32 gun ship, she was now reduced to 15 guns, and assumingly her sister ship was constructed the same. This brought her down from a 5HA to a 4A class. Still, even with her odd sailing characteristics and her short gun deck, she is a terror for those who would pray on the Corrington Fleet. June 1, 20168 yr Very funny background story, Ska, but I must say that the pirate did an extraordinarily good job for half of a sawed up ship! Really, quite a nice little ship, and she definitely looks like she's well armed!
June 1, 20168 yr Decent ship, Ska, like the colors - gives her an 'official set' touch. However, you should really straiten out your sails, or use some alternative material, like linen or simply paper for future ships. This would result in a more refined look. But all in all, good work. Oh, in any case she will need... a rudder! Waiting for the Misfit to capture a pirate, 'cause they just couldn't steer clear, terrifying the enemy into surrender
