For the trade and industry category:

Cheddar Gorge! The hard-working labourers take the goats' milk, mix it, pour it, boil it and curdle it before seperating, moulding, maturing and then good ol' tasting! Then it's sold to travellers who come from far away to buy these Cheddars, Red Leicesters and Edams. Sorry Wallace, no Wensleydale!

This is a great MOC, and as in all of your works, great detail *wub* I love all of the unique techniques that have gone into this. The mouse trap, smoking pipe, different liquids, smoke *wub*

One thing though, what is the head in the turban with the chicken leg supposed to be? :-D

Great job *y* *y*

Another very awesome scene SlyOwl, with some excellent construction and great techniques used *y*

My favourite part are the many use of minifig hands, but the goats are a little off. From certain angles they look good but from others they appear like just a pile of binoculars. The use of pithe helmets as smoke confuses me aswell, brickbuilt smoke I find a lot more effective, while the helmets would be better used as stacked up soup bowls in a restaurant. I also think a smaller axe could be held by the man chasing the mouse.

That said, the whole scene is very lovely, and evokes a great little mood. Another successful moc!

Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)

Wow! Great techniques used here! The top hat works great for the chimney, bu the pithe helmets, like Batbrcik said, look a tad strange. The goats are very cute, and very cool! The mouse trap made me laugh, and the boiling water (or milk) is great! This is all very cool! *y* *y*

Very well done! *wub*

When you look at his from a distance you see an very well build MOC.

But when when you look at all the details you just fall in love with this MOC.

You are a very creative thinker SlyOwl!

I new there was going to be something cheesy about this MOC as soon as I clicked on the link! Fortunately it's cheesy in a good way and not in a horrible distasteful way.

That's a great scene! *y* I like the use of wizard parts as liquids. :-P I look forward to more great MOCs, in the hope that your talent does not grow any mold. (<-- Cheesy cheese pun attempt! :-| )

The head in the turban appears to be a baby, but I'm not sure what the chicken leg is for. :-/

Great MOC with plenty of action and fun details! My favorite detail has to be the mouse trap. It may be small, but it really captures the essence and is a very funny addition to the scene! Also, I spotted some really original usage of parts and techniques, very imaginative! :-D *y*

I really like those goats, and the MOC seems to have a lot of realistic features. The smoke is well done, and I like all of your minifig choices. Still, the goats are the best for me. I like their pen and that they are doing something, not just sitting there.

All that said, it's not a gorge, sorry mate. Nor does cheddar coem from goats. Minor issues and I think that the name is applicable.

Also, is there an interior we could have a look at?

nice!

it's nice too see how cheese is made in a MOC. great idea!

and in case you don't know yet...

Too many images - Composite images Composite images are only allowed in very specific circumstances (i.e. showing how some "action feature" works, such as a trap door open and closed). Please replace the composite image with a single photograph.

slyowl - cheddar gorge - Sorry, I really appreciate the work you did to pick out all of the details to make the composite images, but we're not letting others do this, so please give us single images.

My sister thought up the name and there is a gorge thing (the sliff/ledge), so, y'know... ;-)

Ye - the stove e.t.c are inside - all the ones you can't see in the photo or that don't appear outside...

In case you are unaware, the CCCV doesn't allow composite images, so make sure to fix that before the deadline...

Thanks - I had some extreme trouble late on Christmas Eve trying to get through to the admins - I'm away at the moment (thank goodness my grandparents finally got a computer!) and I'm not a classic-castler, so didn't know this thread existed until I got an email about it today. Thanks anyway. Phew! I thought I was being excluded for being...well...me?

Oh yes, now I see, thanks X-D

Does anyone else get the feeling that the roof is made of cheese? X-D

:-D No wonder that owl on the tree is eyeing down the roof X-D

Once again, Sly'Owl, great work *y* *y*

This is a great work *wub* the kind of moc I like, not big but packed with great details.

One of my favourites for the CCCV.

I see competition will be though (your moc is in the the same category as mine ;-) )
