Blackdeathgr has complained about a lack of Ship Wheels, so I made a little carpentry shop that makes them. BD, you just have to stop by Astrapi sometime and pick up as many as you need. :pir-grin:

This build also fulfilled another primary purpose. I'm working on a collaborative pirate town layout for public displays.

The squares and octagons are the size specified above. Building sizes should be about Medieval Market Village Scale. The public primarily view the layout from the top of the image. The public can view the fronts for nearly all the buildings. The back is three four studs taller than the front, which makes the back buildings easier to view. The roads are not supposed to meet at right angles either. All octagons should have buildings at an angle that is not parallel to the studs.

Great little artisans workshop, Phred. I think this is, to a large degree, how the heart of industry would look in New Terra - small and flexible.

I especially like the front with the open arches in the bottom and those lovely panels in the top (wish I had some of those!), and the ground has some nice texturing too. The roof is a very nice implementation of standard rooftiles and a brilliant gable (?).

I am not entirely convinced by the log bricks for the walls in this implementation, but it works.

Hoping to see pictures of the full layout at some point!

Good to see that steerless ship called "Oleon" can now decide on it's course

Nice build, I'm looking forward to seeing more of that lay-out!

Nice building and nice little industry. It feels very period-appropriate. I like the external stairs to the second floor, and the minifig activity on the ground floor.

I also like the plan for your collaborative pirate town. I look forward to seeing more of it in the future.

Neat little build, and a nice addition to your ever-growing layout. The height of the building is nice, and the steep roof looks great with those old panels. It has a good classic look to it and the workers and their accessories look nice (love those saws!) Keep it up.:classic:

Yaaaaay! Throwing an order of at least a dozen of them! Damn pirate battles take a toll on my (pretty non existant) stock! But in Astrapi? Well, Tom "juggernaught" Jones has to hunt for that elusive artifact there too so i'll be visiting soon. That and to satisfy my religious obligations to the Gods of Oleon. I hope wheels are ready by the time i return from vacation :)
