Recently discovered in an almost forgotten corner of Petraea university, this painting by the yet unknown artist 'BC'.

See Flickr (link in signature) for images without frame and background.

I would like to claim the UoP credits for:

Trees (1/3),

Studs up rocks and cliffs.

Very nice floating island! How did you get the background effect?

Thanks! The background is a handheld macro shot of some 1 x 1 round

plates. I intentionally kept the shutter open for way too long to get a sharp image in the hope it would look a bit like clouds. He rest of the image is several small MOCs combined in Photoshop.

Great idea !

And I like the design of this floating rock !

Good job !

Clever way to do the background there! I thought for sure it was just photoshop! The floating rock looks really good, and although the tree doesn't look exactly like a palm tree, it still is pretty neat.

+1 for the tree and the rocks... I'm not so sure about the geography credit. You don't really have a mountain or cliffside (upside down for one and too small for the other).

I agree with Kai, UoP DoH +1 on the first two credits, but it doesn't qualify for the mountain/cliff credit.

That background is superb - but so is the rest of the build! Great job yet again BC!

Great build BrickCurve! I love the idea of making it a picture, it's very unique and works great for this build.

Thanks. Your right, it doesn't quite fit. Oh well I will have to make my first mountain...

Great floating isjabd, very exotic in nature. Reminds me of Ces's Tobdiah a bit.

Thanks. I did gets one ipnspriation from there. It's always funny when auto correct doesn't catch a piece of really fast typing, "isjabid" = island! :D

Very creative, awesome tree(and island its on), and I love the background.

Thanks, I am glad someone likes the tree!

Correct! It is a 1.4 second exposure of the 1 x 1s that I sometimes use for water in other MOCs

Very cool and very unique. :classic: I love the idea of a floating island. I quite like the tree but maybe it could be improved by shortening the limbs a bit.

Thanks. Good idea, I will try that next time.

Lovely floating rock styling, and the sand texture on top is excellent too  Clever use of the micro ship below!

Thanks, that was the idea, to create something that doesn't normally appear in GoH!
