Captain Braunsfeld Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Last night Queen Beatrice of Oleon had a series of strange dreams: Her first dream took her to the Kingdom of Corrington ... Queen Annetta was addressed by a strange ambassador ... .. unfortunately the conversation took place in Corringtonish. Startled by this strange dreamy vision, Queen Beatrice turned in her bed and fell into a second dream: She found herself in Eslandola, in King Fernando-Augusto VII's study. ... everything seemed normal, but something was different... Yet she could not quite point her finger at it. (Well, you hardly point when you are asleep...) Again she turned in her sleep - and entered the third dream: This was Oleon. The South Gate of the Palace. There were Philip I and the Lord Chancellor - and she saw the strange ambassador again. Suddenly she was awake, in her bed, realising that it was already late in the morning. "Thank to the Gods", she sighed, "it was only a dream." She rose to enter the gardens. Just like in her dream she found her husband and the Lord Chancellor at the South Gate. "Philip", she called out, "I had the most strangest dreams." Philip I and the Lord Chancellor turned towards her. "Tell me, my Dear", said Philip. "We were just talking about the Brick Seas Purge of 616." TitusV Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Very interesting, I'm really curious To See where This is going! Very Nice sery of builds, All quit impressive Quote
Captain Dee Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Interesting story and nice collection of builds. The palace gate looks great for an old-world build and the "strange ambassador" is actually an expected character by now. I love that throne. Where have I seen it before? Seriously, the first two scenes are some excellent reproductions. You have a good eye for detail. About the throne, I think it looks better here with the grooved bricks in the top center than the smooth ones in its original form. And of course that study is superb as well even though I can't point out what's different about it. Good work. Quote
bricklover Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Great builds! I like the architecture. The study is my favorite. Quote

Puvel Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Lovely set of builds, you captured the different styles of Empires nicely! Wonder why only Corrington and Olean have to be bribed though, was the Eslandolian messenger too small to bring a gift? Great way of placing the map in the Eslandolean build btw! Quote

And the "I need golden tiles"-challenge There is a being in the king's study that has not been seen there previously... Great builds! I like the architecture. The study is my favorite. The credits go straight to Kabel! Fun short story, supplemented by lovely builds Interesting story... and i really like the south place gate! The gate - it is the TLG gate (10223) but I have added some gate doors. Lovely set of builds, you captured the different styles of Empires nicely! Wonder why only Corrington and Olean have to be bribed though, was the Eslandolian messenger too small to bring a gift? Great way of placing the map in the Eslandolean build btw! Placing the map => Credit goes to Kabel! Bribed? Who was bribed? Maybe somebody received a gift for having demonstrated the right behaviour? Quote
SilentWolf Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 This is a great story, and great duplicates of previous builds. Good job on that. I don't know about the new monkey though. He doesn't look as mischievous as the original monkey! Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Ahah ! Great story ! I like this "Monkeyception" a lot... Quote
