Captain Green Hair Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Here's a scale model of the famous U47, seen in the movie das boot. It is one of my older, large MOCs. It measures 1,10 meters in length and has a complete interior. Enjoy! The side: The command tower: The 20MM on the rear deck: The side open, showing the interior: And a closeup of the storage compartiment and the mechanic: More images in my BRICKSHELF. NOTE: i don't mean to offend anyone by the flag, it's just the one they sailed under. Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted January 4, 2008 Eurobricks Emperor Posted January 4, 2008 Most impressive! I've seen the ship before in your BS gallery. The guns and some of the other details on the outside deck are inventive. The entire ship looks very accurate. NOTE: i don't mean to offend anyone by the flag, it's just the one they sailed under. Nobody should ever be insulted when you make a historical accurate ship. History is how it is. You can't change that ;-) Quote
zz-80 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Very nice Captain!!! the U-boot from Das boot was a different one. Yes, it's the U96 in "Das Boot". Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Wow, that is amazing! I love the details, like the greeblies and the compartment for supplies, it adds to the whole model, which looked great anyway! the rigging is very good as always too and the 20MM looks have been captured well. Quote
