It seems like suddenly everyone was tasked with becoming a detective. I'd been briefed in and told to start looking for clues and doing what I could to help support the Empire's search. Having been a member of the ISB I was at least somewhat trained for the job, though I was no data analyst or bounty hunter.

I thought I had best reach out to someone I'd worked with in the past, Commander Bennett. He and I had done a few missions a while back and he always proved himself a smart fellow, one that you could tell had been promoted for competence rather than due to connections or time on the job. Currently posted to a "Space Research Facility" it wouldn't be hard to get out to him. I'm not sure why we bother to call them anything other than a listening post, the Rebels knew what they were as much as us. They sat out in space collecting data, monitoring merchant vessels, and constantly keeping an eye on activity. Commander Bennett was well suited to the task, an analytical mind and a great deal of patience meant he could see things others missed.

I hopped a shuttle out to his location and as we approached he sent word to join him on my arrival. I met him in the main monitoring control center and we exchanged the usual pleasantries. He knew why I was there and he said that the chatter had picked up recently. The tough part for his team was to filter out the gossip and embellishments from the truth. I shared what I knew and could tell from the look in his eye that his brain was trying to put pieces together and solve this puzzle. I wasn't sure we had enough parts to guess at the end picture yet, but my hope was that with collaboration that we would eventually find the string that unraveled it all.

Cool scene - I like your design of the work station and the holotable is great. Some of the wall greebling feels a bit random for my taste, but I really like the one on the far left with the hubcap elements.
