WesternOutlaw Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I wanted to share some recent Ghost Town creations that I found on MOC Pages. The builder is Miles Finlay who created two Ghost Town buildings. One is a structure in Alberta, and the other an old bank in Rhyolite Nevada. I really like his style, although the building are larger than minifig scale. I esp. like the old bank. Miles' Ghost Town Buildings Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Ah, I saw the second one on mocpages, but didnt think too horribly much of it :-$ I especially like the first work though - battle damaged (or in this case, time damaged) buildings are always a challenge to build, and its nice to see how builders approach them. Its nicely done here, and some techniques would be great for some battle damaged buildings in a scene. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 13, 2008 Author Posted January 13, 2008 Not minifig scale? :-X Well, the bank is definately not. The other one could be. Quote
Batbrick Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Quite good I think, especially since I prefer MF scale. The first one is quite nice, as you said TheBrickster, he has a nice style. The bank I didn't like at first, but then that "ghost town" feel the TheBrickster imposes on us so often ( :-P ) sunk in and I really began to appreciate it. Batbrick is Back! >:-) Quote
