LuxorV Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 V-LI-01B You may remember this big yellow machine. The first version was a bit simplified and cartoonish. I tried to improve it and make it look more realistic, thanks to your advices, too :-$ So, here is a general view of V.2 As Stauer notices elsewhere, I changed the crawlers, but didn't change them into wheels; I just added one gear for support. The front portion and the blade were changed, too. Now the blade can be oriented and the supports can be extended. The new cockpit has a less bulky design and a moveable seat To end this review, the exaust pipe is smaller, and better looking near the cockpit Comments & Critics are appreciated ;-) LuxorV Quote
Stauder Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Very nice! It's so... Yellow... :-D The movable front and the seat where a very nice and quite practical touch! I need to get me some of them tracks, they look good for tankbuilding! :-$ :-P Stauder Quote
LuxorV Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 Yes, I got the same impression of yellowiness, someway X-D I'm glad you like my little additions :-$ You can find those tracks in the Exo-Force 8118 Hybrid Rescue Tank *wub* LuxorV Quote
Batbrick Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 You can find those tracks in the Exo-Force 8118 Hybrid Rescue Tank *wub* LuxorV Hmm, remind me to get that set, so I can kill three baby birds with one very large stone by; A) Getting your torso B) Those treads and other neat pieces C) My first two human characters Anyhoo, great updation LuxorV, I love the new design, especially for the exhaust and shovel *y* The cockpit (?) looks much better and more realistic now, and the little greebs look cool too. My one criticism is that I think the cockpit (?) needs a bit of yellow at the front to make it mesh better. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
AzMean Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 whoa.. dats a wide bulldozer.. 12-wide right? Nice though! maybe can make the front "engine part" a bit more rounder.. coz it looks a bit boxy. other than that, GREAT! it would be cool to see it in action though.. I never seen pnumatic sets b4. :-$ Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Considering that you used minimal/no Technic pieces, very good! 10/10. Quote

AzMean Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Don't tell anyone, but the pneumatic pieces are there only for aesthetics; they don't work, cause I would have had to rebuilt the entire vehicle to add a working pneumatic system |-/ .Next time, I'll try to be less lazy :-P LuxorV bah! u got me there! But it still looks cool though. :-$ Quote
Asuka Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Looks like a pretty realistic and impressive machine. Doze on! *y* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I agree with Asuka! I like it, the working front end is clever, the moveable seat is also interesting, however I would prefer it in all yellow, with some grey. 8-| Great job though! *y* Quote
LuxorV Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 Thanks for your comments, Lord Of Pies :-$ As always, most of my color schemes are dictated by pieces availability 8-| LuxorV Quote
