WesternOutlaw Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 A few years ago when I was collecting the Orient Expedition sets, I stumbled upon the following on the Lego.com Orient Expedition Web Site: Explorer Log Book I thought this was a really neat idea to create a small book of the various adventure sets. I got busy and created pages using pictures of sets and set descriptions, even adding set reviews on some of the pages. The book came out pretty slick and serves as a great set reference. Here's some pictures that I just took earlier. Starting with the cover: I included a map within the inside cover: And here's a sample of one of the pages: I also included pages with bios on each of the adventurers (picture not shown). I've since added the Dinosaur Island sets, but never got around to the old Jungle and Desert Adventure sets. This was a great idea and a neat way to keep track of the Adventure sets. Here's a link to Lego's printable instruction page: Explorer Log Book Quote
gylman Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Cute! My kids used that same set of instructions to make something along the same line. Too bad they didn't have the same followthrough as you! Quote

MagPiesRUs Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Nice idea, Brickster. Very cute, and quite a lot of information there by the looks of it. I remember getting a small booklet similar to this in one of the Lego Magazines. It included puzzles, comics, stickers and pictures of the sets. I'll check if I've still got it. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Nice! What are you covering up with that piece of paper? Oh, wait, your name... :-$ Quote
