SirNadroj Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Built specially for Eurobrick's Castle Month: This vig depicts a beautiful princess' murder, by a disgruntled troll. Lot's of SNOTy blood. ;-) Don't have much else to say, so enjoy! *classic* Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) Well, that's rather gruesome. I like it. EDIT: Just noticed the arms as legs on the chair-thingy, thats cool. Edited April 11, 2008 by sir dano Quote
ExoBuilder Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 You don't lie, that was very bloody! *tongue* That troll is an idiot, he left behind a massive trail of blood! *hmpf* Long lives Castle month! *knight* Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 It's a bit bloody for even TheBrickster's taste, but it's still a really nice creation. I esp. like how you added the round 1x1 pieces on the windows (very clever), and the couch for the maiden. Really slick SN. Nice job! *thumbup* Quote
Batbrick Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) Great vig Sir Nadroj, I love the use of a swivel clip for the princees sitting, ingenious. i'll probably side with the "a bit too much blood" crowd, but it is a cool work nonetheless. That's rather disturbing... *hmpf* What is that meant to mean? Batbrick Away! *devil* Edited April 11, 2008 by Batbrick Quote
ExoBuilder Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Too much blood, too much SNOT. *tongue* Am I ever going to be able to impress you Batbrick? *cry_sad* I'm sure this is supposed to be disturbing, It is titled "Princess' Murder", after all *wink* Quote
MacK Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Great vig, I like all the little details you threw in, and yes it is very bloody. My favorite part is the chair/bed, because of the SNOT use, and clever use of minifig arms as the chair legs. Just to clarify, did the troll kill the princess while she was outside then drag her body back to the castle, or did the troll kill the princess inside the castle leaving a large trail of blood behind *wacko* . LuxorV Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Very neat and cleverly done *thumbup* . I don't know why, but your pics always seem to shine *oh3* . They are so beautiful, and full of brilliant colors *wub* . LuxorV Quote
Asuka Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 A really interesting and very smart work, and these windows´re beautiful! *thumbup* Quote
Nikola Bathory Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I really see some cool ideas here, like the window *thumbup* I enjoyed this stuff, nice little scene! *grin* Quote
yellost Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Wow, you really got a knack for building highly designed furniture... I'm always impressed by those. Great job! Quote
Shoc Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Nice MOC, but that seems like a lot of blood spilt from just one person. Maybe. Not that I would know, anyway. *sceptic* *skull* Quote
BlueBard Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Great vig! Specially the couch and the coloured pieces on the windows, so nice idea! *blush* If I can make one criticism, on the first look it's a bit difficult to see the troll... *sceptic* Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 12, 2008 Governor Posted April 12, 2008 I don't get why there is so much blood on the outside but I really like the flowerpot Quote
Shadows Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I don't get why there is so much blood on the outside but I really like the flowerpot Almost word for word exactly what I thought. *laugh* Quote
iamded Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 That's quite a messy scene you've got there, yet so cleanly built. Very neat, but why the Princess? Why? *grin* I like the couch, and that flower pot is cleverly built indeed. *thumbup* ~Peace Quote
Wout Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 To quote some other members: "Oh, the humanity!" nice vignette and I like the couch. Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Cool MOC. Very different. Well done Quote
SirNadroj Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 Thanks for the kind words guys! That's rather disturbing... *hmpf* I'll take that as a compliment! Just to clarify, did the troll kill the princess while she was outside then drag her body back to the castle, or did the troll kill the princess inside the castle leaving a large trail of blood behind *wacko* . The troll snuck up on her and stabbed her to death while she wasn't looking. I don't know why, but your pics always seem to shine *oh3* . They are so beautiful, and full of brilliant colors *wub* .LuxorV Thanks! Photoshop ON! Not that I would know, anyway. *sceptic* *skull* I hope not! If I can make one criticism, on the first look it's a bit difficult to see the troll... *sceptic* He's supposed to be hiding. He turned around to see his handy work. Quote
