Deinonychus Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Anyone else see this on the LEGO S@H site? There's your Bionicle set. I think it's pretty neat, but... Whining commences in 3...2...1... Quote
iamded Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Aaaaaawwwww! No, not really. *tongue* I actually think it looks really cool. Surprisingly cute for a creature armed to the teeth with pointy blade things. I think it's the eyes that give away it's cuddly goodness. *tongue* So cuuute! *grin* If only I had a Brickmaster subscription... I wonder if you can use that Lego money to buy real Lego... *wink* ~Peace Quote
Batbrick Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 There's your Bionicle set. I think it's pretty neat, but...Whining commences in 3...2...1... This comment made my day! *laugh* Honestly I like it too, it could have turned out a LOT worse. Still, the only Brickmaster set I've seen that I really wanted enough to buy was that dark green Indy jeep.... Batbrick Away! *devil* Quote
Deinonychus Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 Odd thing is, on other images on the site the July set is pictured as the Indy Jeep...just here it's the familiar "Mystery Box" That probably means absolutely nothing, but may confuse some. *wink* Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Mehhh, I have no use for either of them. I'll sell both on EBay and hope to make up for the loss with the profit... *hmpf_bad* I think that pic of Indy 4 on the front of the featured BM magazine is proof enough for any FBTB di'kut who won't look at those pics... (yes, that was pure sarcasm spiced up with a touch of Mando'a, since I know they've let the pics go on the site, but I rarely get to be sarcastic, so this was my big break! *tongue* ) Quote

elkmn Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Looks to me like someone reused an old graphic for this. The cement mixer shown for May was one of last years BrickMaster sets. (And I thought a Creator Dinosaur set had already been revealed to be the set for this May, along with the Indy set for July...) Quote
Canticleer blues Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Wait, I'm confused. Does this mean there's no more Indy promo? Or is it some sort of mistake? Nice Indy magazine cover though. Quote
Sugar Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 cool, the bionicle one looks promising :), too bad I don't have the mag Quote
Derek Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Maybe they didnt make enough Indy sets so now they have to give theese to people who are just joining..... Quote

Take another look at the page. Click on 'More Views' and you'll see another pic to click on. Do so and it'll show you the Indy set in the middle. Quote
Pencoin Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 just so you guys know the bionicle one is appearing in federation of fear the online story on bioniclestory.com Quote
BryanKinkel Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I just got my first Brickmaster set on Saturday. It was the City Fireman 4x4 20002 set. According to Brickset, the schedule is as follows: March 08 20002 City 4x4 Firetruck http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=20002-1 May 08 20003 Creator Dinosaur http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=20003-1 July 08 20004 Indy's Jungle Cruiser http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=20004-1 September 08 20005 Unknown Bionicle http://www.brickset.com/detail.aspx?Set=20005-1 So those graphics are very likely old. -- Bryan Quote

Does that mean I'll get the firetruck in May? Then the Dinosaur in July? And so on and so on... Or might I recieve 2 sets at one time? Is that how it works? I also remember seeing an "unknown Star Wars set" for the end of the year (Nov?)...here's hoping for a small Clone Wars adaptation! Quote

The "Batbot" was set 20001, so I believe that was the January set. The timing and numbering of these seems to really confuse the everlovin' hell out of people. Especially when they sign up and don't immediately get the last set, or the next. I'm just keeping my subscription current and taking whatever sets I am given Quote

I just keep hoping to get a box in the mail everyday! Quote
