This is one of many borderstations between the two nations. It is actually an old invasion camp from when the humans tried to enslave the trolls.

trollcamp5.jpg

Not much remains of the original fort. In the continuing wars between humans and trolls it was devasted many times. Since the trolls are more of a nomadic people, they do not feel the need to rebuilt it. If the humans should attack they would flee into the woods and fight a guerilla war. Like they have always done.

Now it serves more as a trading post between trolls and the nearby human colonies.

The troll soldiers spend their days gathering all sorts of food to roast on their fire. And asking taxes for passing merchants.

The trolls claim that the skeletons under the stairs are the orignial human defenders of the fort, this helps them to collect taxes from passing humans.

Enjoy! Sorry about the bad pics, I have a very old camera!

That´s a marvelous diorama, very detailed indeed. I like how careful you´ve arranged all these neat attractions to

create a devastated scenery without too much gore and with a fine amount of humor. :cry_happy:

The skulls behind the stairs, the charming camp fire, the barrel, the well and the adequate landscaping (and everything

else)´re working together very well.:sweet:

Looks good. I wish Lego would make an official set like this, particularly with the cow. I think the crooked well is my favorite detail. The firepit is also well done.

Lego makes cows?

That MOC looks awesome. I wish I had a lot more tree stuff...I like your concept of the trolls inhabiting abandoned structures. I came up with something similar about 2 years ago for a failed fantasy story.

Nice job. One gripe with the story; I doubt that the orcs (screw "troll") would use guerrilla warfare, I say that because if their massive siege weapons like the Battle wheel, which I strongly doubt would be useful in guerrilla warfare tactics, because you can't really hide it among the enviorment for a surprise attack. Other than that, good job  .

Hmm, I guess you´re right, but on the other hand it could be easily camouflaged into a medieval funfair ride....

Great Moc  I think it's really great to see moc that helps flesh out the orc's abit more, to me they are more than just brainless killing things.

The added skulls and cooking area really is a nice added touch.

Hope you do more of these :classic:

That is one cool Diorama with such cool detailing. What pieces are holding the fire together?

I love your outpost. The abandoned look and the surroundings give a very good illustration on how the orcs make good use of such places of interest. The well is done in a very good way. This bunch of orcs looks like mercernary too. :classic: Overall, nice creation!
