MacK Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) Hello Eurobrickers, here are two MOCs I recently made. Just in time for Castle Month Danger All Around. A few soldiers are out on patrol in a generic dark forest that enters skeleton territory. However the brave knights encounter a problem... the bridge has been destroyed . Oh noes! a spider, but that is the least of these knights worries. A dead human head has attracted the attention of a small black dragon (my first attempt at black fantasy), and a vicious skeleton dog(not my design). Maybe it would be safer to swim? I'm fairly pleased with this MOC it was my first attempt to make a SNOT base after being inspired by a few others I've seen. The Brickshelf folder when Moderated. Second after seeing Hinckley's beatiful airship I had to give Steam punk a try. So here’s my first ever Steam punk creation a small cargo copter known as the WaterCopter (needs a better name). Its two rowboats with a large steam powered rotor, and a cargo net between them. There is a crew of two. The actual water tank and boiler are in one rowboat while the controls are in the other rowboat. The Brickshelf folder (when moderated). Please leave any comments or criticism you have, these MOCs were mostly experimental but I think they turned out okay, with some areas to improve on . Edited June 12, 2008 by Hinckley Quote
I Scream Clone Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Nice work on the snot baseplate, you have inspired me to give it a try! The story is intriguing, looks like trouble for the brave knights. The steampunk is something i must admit i havent tried yet, but you seem to have done a great job! so thats 2 x Quote
Asuka Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 That´s a pretty dark scenery indeed and a fine use of black pieces to create a special atmosphere of creepiness, well done. The catamaran-like design of your steampunk vessel´s also very interesting.... Quote

I think you should also try building something steampunk as well it was a fun build . Good to see you liked my MOCs. That´s a pretty dark scenery indeed and a fine use of black pieces to create a special atmosphere of creepiness, well done. The catamaran-like design of your steampunk vessel´s also very interesting.... When I built this I wasn't completely sure about the black pieces, but as you noted they created a good sense of creepines/fear. On a side note does anyone think I should add another tree or something to my castle MOC, as it looks kinda plain (but that might just be me). Keep the comments coming (either good or bad is welcome, as I'm still learning ) Quote
