Of which contents should a SW BP generally consist?

Hello everybody!

Here is my second poll on EB (my first poll is here):

Since it's now the second year that TLG releases Star Wars BPs - and I think and hope that TLG will go on with that - I thought it would be interesting to know which kinds of BPs we SW fans on EB prefer.

I voted the first one becuase its the best with a commander, I don't mind more than 1 as long as they aren't a main character

Good poll! I think it makes sense to make a poll about this because it's been discussed a little bit somewhere else on the forum I think I remember?

I voted for option II because I think Commanders should rather be included in larger sets - you just don't need too many of them.

Ah, and btw: What's the difference between options III and IV? Isn't that much of a difference is it? And anyway: How could anybody NOT love SW battle packs??

My vote goes to one captain with three troopers with extras. I really like soldier diversity in a battle pack once in a while. Sometimes it gets annoying when you have four of the same guys. I like a little diversity.

I agree with Vaders_Son i would like a commander but you dont need heaps of them so would be better if he was in a bigger set or something.They would look nice together Yellow, Red, Blue, Green .

Also if they just included a speeder bike or 2 with it (+ weapons or course) so that its not all mini-figs[

Because we probable wont have just mini-fig packs due to the aggrement with hasbro/lucas

You mean like the knights battle pack? I could see that that would be more convienant. Personally I like smaller sets with more figs. Like the indiana jones motorcycle chase. It may not be a battle pack, but you get a decnet amount of figs and great models, too!

I vote the one commander, three troopers and extra stuff option because I like the battle packs are like relative little battalions or team with each own commander. I prefer if TLC just release a commander that doesnt is too important or unique like Cody or Gree and give us a random one .

i said one high rank and 3 troopers because it isnt much of an army builder if it comes with three different types out of 4! of course, BPs should always includ weapons and some landscape or vehicles.

im also hoping for an all commanders- BP, where it has all of the main clone commanders in ep 3 (gree, bly, bacara, and cody)

Where was my choice of 4 ewoks with weapons? Am I serious, only I know.

I like anything generic, they can save specific characters for bigger sets, I don't want to end up with 6 of one character (or 10 like the number of Lukes I have).

I feel the first option will give you the most variety in figures, which is always welcome

but lets be honest, we will eat up any BP's they throw at us (provided they continue to do so)

I voted for one captain/sergeant/lieutenant/..., three troopers and some additional stuff, too.

There are two reasons for my vote:

Firstly I think it was, is and will be an exception that TLG includes more than one captain/sergeant/lieutenant/... in a BP.

Secondly I don't like BPs which include only four troopers of the same kind. That gets boring and you can't build a "real" army - like it's TLG's aim - because there have to be troopers who lead the other "common" troopers. Otherwise there will be only chaos ! That was the same thing with the Rebel Scout Speeder: A great vehicle and great minifigs but no captain/sergeant/lieutenant/... .

So: One captain/sergeant/lieutenant/..., three troopers and some additional stuff for me in a SW BP!

By the way: I'd like to have BPs which include as additional stuff only a little vehicle (like e. g. a speeder bike) or only a cannon in order that the BP isn't that cotly than the new ones which are in my opinion with 13,99 € much to expensive since I mainly want minifigs in a BP - and not vehicles.

I think the result (as far) is very obvious:

1/3 wants four troopers of only the same type and

2/3 want at least one captain/sergeant/commander/lieutenant.

I'd be interested in what our ambassadors would say to this result.
