Posted April 29, 200816 yr This is from theraider.net... "Shia Hosts LEGO Indy Mini-Movie Premiering May 10th 28/04/08, 4:40pm EST The folks at LEGO are sending LEGO Indy off on the high road to adventure in style with a premiere of a full-length CGI "mini-movie" featuring LEGO Indy, and hosted by Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star, Shia LaBeouf. Similar to the Star Wars LEGO mini-movie Revenge of the Brick this will be a great way to get fans ready for the new LEGO game that will be coming out on all systems in June. While fans have seen clips of the action in the game so far from the game trailer that recreates the famous opening of Indiana Jones trekking through the Peruvian jungle in 1936 looking for the danger -filled temple that holds the golden fertility idol, this will be much longer and in four parts. Raiders of the Lost Brick, is slated to premiere as a commercial event within the Cartoon Network Toonami programming block Saturday, May 10 at 9 p.m. The event, running over four minutes in length, will be hosted by Shia LaBeouf, star of the much-anticipated feature film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Leading up to the mini-movie premiere, Cartoon Network will promote the event through custom on-air spots and online elements at CartoonNetwork.com. Visitors to the Website will get a sneak peek of the on-air event by checking out part one of the mini movie, debuting on the site the week of April 28. The following week, part two will be posted to view, with the full-length mini movie available online following the on-air premiere. In addition, Cartoon Network.com will feature a custom gaming opportunity that features three levels of a LEGO Indiana Jones online game building in difficulty, one level per week, starting April 28. For more information, or to view the first two blocks of the film before the full-length premiere, visit CartoonNetwork.com/LEGOIndianaJones starting April 28. April 30, 200816 yr What, they couldn't get Ford to host it? Seriously, though. Thanks for sharing this news. I'll be sure to stay tuned ~ should be fun; I remember watching Revenge of the Brick. But wait: full-length mini-movie? A little oxy-moronic, if you ask me.
April 30, 200816 yr Hey, I just notice on the site, in the Toy Gallery, that they actually refer to the "bad guys" as Russians instead of gaurds. Strange.
April 30, 200816 yr Author I think they are having Shia host it because I'm sure that he would appeal to kids more than Harrison Ford, who could techincally be olde rthan some of their grandparents... Just an opinion... Dp8
April 30, 200816 yr Sounds interesting, thank you for that info darhperson8, although I´m still a little confused about how long a full-lenght mini-movie might be....
May 11, 200816 yr I just saw it on Cartoon network right now, I was laughing so hard out loud the whole time, I was also cool to see what George Lucas and Steven Spielberg look like in Lego form. Treehouse Animation ON!
May 11, 200816 yr I hope this is good; goodness knows how they ruined Revenge of the Brick. But seeing George and Spielberg in Lego... That sounds promising.
May 11, 200816 yr The movie was great. The worst part was Shia's introduction. You get to be part of an amazing francise with this movie and immortalized in Lego, can you at least pretend some excitement? Especially since pretending is your job. -Tohst
May 13, 200816 yr It was also cool to see what George Lucas and Steven Spielberg look like in Lego form.Treehouse Animation ON! I missed it. Was this in part four? Also, wasn't the director in the Lego Studios line supposed to be Spielberg? Aww I missed it. Where can I find parts three and four? Part three is now available on the Cartoon Network website and part four should be there soon as well. Edited May 13, 200816 yr by Oky Wan Kenobi
May 13, 200816 yr Part three and four are online and i am exasperated! Why is part three and four exactly the same besides the longer end of part four and the Steven/George scene? I thought there would be a part with the Holy Grail or with the Sankara Stones and now my dreams are crushed! I also expected a fight between Irina and Mutt, like in the TV-Spot. Whatever, part one and two were good enough for a Lego Indy film like Revenge of the bricks or this Batman Film were are the same scenes over and over again.
May 13, 200816 yr They're great! Notice in the 'Toy Collection' section there is a better picture of set 7628, Peril in Peru! Where can I see Lebeouf's introduction?
May 18, 200816 yr the whole film is on the website now http://indianajones.lego.com/en-US/movies/default.aspx i loved it its very funny
