Vadim Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 V-LV-2E I think that not many people know what is it, so only pictures. Quote
Lasse D Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 People don't know the pride of Russian engineering when it comes to reliability? You can often fix those vehicles with chewing gum and a pair of shoelaces You use some great construction techniques there Vadim. Good work. Does the suspension move as well? Quote
Grimer Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Very well done. Captures the look of the truck and uses ingenious techniques. Quote
xzanfr Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I've really enjoyed your pictures, Vadim. Thats a great truck you have there - the SNOT on the front really works - i didn't realise you could use the sloping bricks so well that way round. I've got a big thing with Russian trucks - I think their design is iconic and as interesting as that of the US trucks of a similar age that are more commonly shown. Being a forum from all around the world, it's really interesting to see each persons take on a model depending upon their country of residence -for both buildings and vehicles. How have you made the load carrying area - specifically the 'studs out' side pieces? - I'm thinking of making something similar and I wondered if your one has hinged flaps. I look forward to seeing more of your constructions. Quote
Asuka Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 An impressive and very decent looking truck, a solid and clever work indeed with many cool details like the neat rear lights and these great side mirrors. Quote
Dr. Brick Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 A very nice truck with cool SNOT-techniques. Keep up the good work! Dr. Brick Quote
iamded Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 What an awesome truck! Perhaps a bit big for mini-fig scale, but awesome nevertheless, great SNOT techniques and overall a great looking truck! ~Peace Quote

andy16806 Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Very nice truck Vadim. I nice colors, and I also like your SNOT technique on the front. Andy Quote
WarnIcarus Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 That is great. I like the doors especially. I think that the brake lights and blinkers on the back of the truck should be flat plates, not 2/3 angles. Quote
Hinckley Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 This is an excellent truck! Highly detailed and ingenious technique! Thanks for sharing it with us and providing all of those detailed shots! Quote
AgentRick Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Really cool. I like what you did with the doors. Quote
