Custom Faces for the Whacker and the Walrus

For the most recent issue of The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus I used a lot of custom faces and I thought I'd create a topic for them.

6 faces of Hinckley:

From l to r: grumpy, beat up but laughing, whacked or wedgied, laughing, worried, beat up

There's another "whacked" face that I've misplaced...I think these are my best ones, the other characters I was a little off on the scale...

Ras normal:

Ras angry:

You can tell his face is too large, but the difference here is that his eyebrows are furrowed in the angry position.

Ras perplexed:

I liked this one, but after looking at it for too long, it looks less like a mouth and more like a mustache:

Captain Green Hair normal:

This head has really odd eyebrows...

again the scale is way off...

and last but not least, Mr. Tiber normal:

This figure is kind of an oxymoron, because anyone who has ever dealt with Mr. Tiber knows he's a real even tempered guy. I've seen people flip out at him and him weather it very cool and mature beyond his years...

and my favorite, Tiber lying:

Equally an oxymoron, I really like the emotion I captured with this one.

I didn't realise these were actual customs, I thought you'd photoshopped them in. Great job there, Hinckley! The perplexed Ras and scared Green Hair are my favourites. Angry Ras' mouthstache is hilarious too. One question though, are all the normal faces (Green Hair, Ras and Tiber) customs, or official heads used for reference? Again, great job, for all of them!

You usually see this when something big and heavy is heading for them. Now I need to look at the comics more. Most of these I haven't noticed. Really cool how you put so much effort into these things.

I would love to see a smiley out of this.

Really like these, I thought you'd photoshopped them as well! I really love the beat up hinckley ones especially when he's still laughing...

Are those Hinckley figs repeated, or do you keep that many figures of yourself lying around ...?
