I really like the impulse sets, which permit us to have some minifigs with good idea of accessories.

But because of the concept of a very small set, which means very fiew pieces, the deisgn of those accessories seems a little too simple.

So I tried to upgrade this set :

And came with this :

I really loveyour "impulse", the use of gears is really smart and adds something to a generally basic set. It keeps the fashion of the city sets and obviously took a lot of thinking as to design. It looks reasonable to purchase, a good amount of pieces and nice fig. The only criticism- the piece attached between the valve and the actual machine. It looks like part of the mechanism, but it's really visually annoying for some reason. It just make the valve stick out. Your next project should be to find a way to get rid of it, not as a complaint, but extremely positive advice.

I like to have some constructive critisism! It permits you to be better!

I have tried to find a piece not to make the valve stick out, but it seems that it doesn't exist.

The cement mixter is fixed to the yellow structure to its two sides. I've put a 1x1 yellow bricks with a hole near the valve. So I need a two hole technic pins with a studed extremity. It's not really clear...

I've used the new flicked missile technic piece, but the gray tube can't go more into the rounded dark grey piece from the mixter...

I've tried a lot of combination, but it's my better result for now. Maybe I will try how to fix that!

Thanks for your comment!

It's a less impulsive impulse!

I know. I didn't want to make an impulse set, I just wanted to keep the idea and build it in a "better" way, without limitation of pieces.
