DNL Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 (edited) Hello, this is my entry for lordDOOM's Create-Your-Own-Adventure-Building-Challenge at Classic-Castle.com: We were on our way to visit the dwarfs. When we arrived at their mountain we were suddenly surrounded by Bhurths. Deeplink The Bhurths took us inside and put us in one of the caves they used as jail. They must've killed the dwarfs and taken their mountain... Deeplink A couple of months later we heard shouts and the sound of weapons outside, the Bhurths were under attack! Deeplink Later one of the king's soldiers opened the door of our jail. After months of bad food and no fresh air we were finally free! Deeplink More pics: FLICKR Brickshelf gallery when public DNL Edited June 12, 2008 by Hinckley Quote
LegoLyons Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Two words: Holy crap. Thats sweet, love it, looks very complex and time consuming, great finished project. Quote

Norro Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Very nice work! And some nifty building tricks subtly employed in the mountain... Gotta love the sense of place. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan Quote
Khorne Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I love this creation, it's so packed full of details and cool buidling techniques. I hope you will win the contest ! Quote
Asuka Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 A very neat work with some great landscaping. These fine wooden structures´re well integrated to the cliff, the architecture of the caves, especially of that big one with the nifty well, looks impressive, and the battle scenery´s nicely done to with some cool details like the Bhurths approaching through the tunnel by the water. Good luck for that interesting contest! Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I love the little goblin heads used in this! That's a piece you don't see very often in castle MOC's, esepecially with this much quantity! Quote
WhiteFang Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 DNL, your Castle MOC never failed to impress me. This MOC is no exception too. I am amazed by the scale of the mountain landscape. The uneven terrain looks as real as it. While there is a "mine" within the mountain itself. I love your landscaping very much. I really hope you can win the contest, good luck! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Such a cool MOC, All the internals are so cool and well thought out too! I it very much! Nothing like a sneak attack from the water! Inspiration on! Quote
Quarryman Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Wow I'm finding it hard to find something specific to point out as great, everything is of such outstanding quality Good luck in the contest! And I see you've put your pile of goblin heads from the PaB madness at Legoworld Oslo to good use Quote
