Rayskull Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 New advancements in reactor, cooling and shield systems has resulted in smaller and smaller fighters for the Skull Guardians. Presenting, the Skull Guardians newest fighter....The MicroSkull MK3 :pir-skull: I have paired 2 MicroSkulls in the pictures so you can see the features from different angles with fewer pics, enjoy! (Buy it) $19.44 http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...57-9e1f705ab78f BONUS! This is a wing of MicroSkull MK2s (previous iteration) in battle! I am very excited about these creations, I try to get my MOCs as compact as possible while retaining cool features. I started the skull fighter series with the Frag Skull... seen here: Very compact and detailed but also very blocky... I wanted more curves, I think I got it right with the MicroSkull! Quote
Svelte Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Wow, these are great I love the compact, stubby little faces of the skulls - they look particularly malevolent. The level of detail is fantastic as well for such small craft - you've done a great job. I actually like the trans blue and white scheme a bit more than the Space Skulls red/ white - makes them more clinical-looking and creepy. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Very nice - I like how they are minifig-sized. Quote
Brainbox Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 These are fantastic. Good level of detail, cool overall design, and a minifig fits inside. I like the landing gear, btw. Dare I even say 'cute'? Quote
Adam Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Awesome, even though they're Star Justice colored! Those are spiffy MOCs; I love the "wing of MicroSkull MK2s" pic. Good job ! Quote
