Captain Green Hair Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 53d Ahoy matey's, I've updated my original frigate with a few changes. Biggest change is the two extra guns in the front: Second i've made some ''arms'' to lower the sloop: I've made her 2 studs smaller, so the tumlehome is much better: I made the headrails a bit shorter: And i made a little sign below the stern were i could have put her name: I regret to say that she didn''t survive my hunger for bricks, i hope you enjoyed these final shots! I have some large pixel shots, if you would like these for inspirational purpouses send me a PM. Cheers, Captain green hair Quote
Shadows Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 You're a crazy man! You've destroyed a masterpiece... She looked good, right to the end. Takes a moment of silence. So, what's your next big plan for those parts? Quote

El Bucanero Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 So you really dismantled her.... Too bad, too bad. Ah well, like admiral Vilerhard would say: I'd rather see her gone than in the hands of the French! At least her pics will be preserved eternally in all her glory on Brickshelf!! Quote

Norrington Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Hey all! It's been quite a while, hasn't it? Well, I must say that I'm dissappointed on the destruction of this magnificent ship. I do hope you make sure that it's sacrifice isn't in vain, and build something awesome. Quote

Gen. Knowledge Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 She's beautiful, Captain Green Hair! I love the details. Quote
rriggs Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Beautiful ship - Shame she's gone - but at least we got to see her before she was scuttled! I hope that your scavenge for parts wasn't just because you found a seedier use for the well-endowed minifig from the stern! Cheers Rog Quote
blueandwhite Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 She was a nice ship but kudos to any LEGO fan who has the courage to canibalize any MOC to move forward to bigger and better things. Green Hair, you're an excellent builder so it's nice to konw that whatever happens, the bricks from LE Requin will be put to good use. Quote
