keetong Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 This is my second go at a tudor house, you proably wouldn't want to see my first. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sidorak1...picture_048.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sidorak1...picture_047.jpg Sorry about links, not sure how to post pictures. BlueBard Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Nice little house! Sorry about links, not sure how to post pictures. For posting pictures you have only to copy the Image Location, select the "Insert Image" button when you're going to add your reply and paste it in the window that appears. In order to copy the Image Location there's two ways: if you're using Firefox you just have to right click on the picture and select "Copy Image Location". If you're using Internet Explorer right click on the picture, then select "Properties" and then in the window that appears copy the picture's address (url). Hope this helps you! Quote
WhiteFang Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Keetong, nice house! I like the medival look of it. Certainly looks cosy. Does it have an interior as well? If you required a clearer guide on how to upload images to your topic in Eurobricks, please refer to this tutorial that is done by ImperialShadows. It's a very useful guide. Do remember to re-size the pictures, and upload it by using 800 x 600 pixels and below. More than that, will give members like me a hard time to load the pictures. Pardon me, for my slow speed. If you need any further help, please approach any of us. We will be glad to help. Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It looks good the only suggested improvement I’d propose is to add a few diagonal beams. Other wise it's a good solid house and I'd personally like to see your first attempt just to see the progression. Quote
Shoc Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I like it, very nice! It very much reminds me of some of the tudor buildings in Winchester, near where I live. That's a compliment hehe. :skull: Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I really like the look of this Tudor house! The only small thing I think, is the base of the house needs a little more of a reinforced look to hold the weight of the house on top Give these a look for more advanced Tudor designs too. Sir Dillon Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 This is a nice little house you have Keetong. The only thing I dislike is the way you've done the stone bottom. I would suggest at least making the sides symetrical, and continuing the arch supports down to the bottom of the base. You can find out how to resize and post your images here. Quote
