Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) The Crimson Bolt, used in my Bignette. I heve given it an updated Engine Pod and new cockpit cover. It gives it a sleeker look, I think. Linky. Preview: Comments/Criticism much appreciated! DSR Edited July 24, 2008 by Dark Sword Ragnarok Quote
Siegfried Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 It's a good shape, but at this stage I think more detail is needed. Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 Thanks Sinner. I will try to add more detail. You can't see it here, but there is a net that folds down from the top for hauling cargo or weapons. Also, it is meant to be a simple "fly in, fly out" craft. Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 A very good start. Keep us updated on this. Will do! I'm thinking of making a fold down weapons rack or something instead of the lame net in the top dome (it's hollow on the inside of the dark red hump on the top!) Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 24, 2008 Author Posted July 24, 2008 Updated! Check out my flickr photos to see the (small) improvements! I added a communications array and two extras for weapons, check it out! Linky! Quote
NewRight Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Okay, but something is missing from this ship overall. Maybe more details, I don't know. Great start though. Quote
Corvus Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 The resemblence is uncanny... (*cough*Alpha Team *cough*) I like it! The engine pods are great- the use of the wheels is pretty clever. Quote

This one, however, has evolved far beyond my original. (the original had crappy blast doors and a much more simple engine design.) Anywho, thanks, I'm glad you like it! Quote
