Norrington Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 57a Here's a fine galleon-like vessel found on Brickshelf: Gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=262102 Enjoy. Quote
Dreamweb Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Strange colours... In fact the quality of the pictures makes them even more strange - the ship looks almost pink to me. I'm not a big fan of those brick-built sails... they look way too blocky. However I llike the design of the upper deck and the sterncastle. I'd like to see some pictures of the ship's interior. Quote
Swab Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I like it. Especially the figure head. It might look better with different rigging, but overall it looks great. The color scheme reminds me of an old 17th century ship. Swab Quote
Capn Frank Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I'd like to see some pictures of the ship's interior. I think i found some. It's very colorful. I've added this ship to the Index of MOC Ships. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Though it has an interesting colorscheme, it is pretty well build. The shape is not bad and the stern is actually pretty good IMO. The only thing worrying me is that pirate flag and the skeletons on the rear, altough our VOC guys were a bunch of pirates we had a bit of a different flag to hide it Quote
Dreamweb Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 (edited) I think i found some. That's interesting... While I saw this green lower deck before, I must've missed the pictures of the stern cabin revealed, hence my previous comment about the ship's interior. Very colourful indeed, but maybe the captain likes it that way? Oh no, there's a hole in the bottom of the hull!!! Edited August 1, 2008 by Dreamweb Quote
El Bucanero Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Interesting, The Klein sounds just like "te klein", wich is Dutch for "too small" Perhaps it was intentional? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 7, 2008 Governor Posted August 7, 2008 Strange colours... In fact the quality of the pictures makes them even more strange - the ship looks almost pink to me. I could swear there's pink bricks on the stern... Quote
