The Librarian Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Not exactly a frequent poster but then I spend half the year away from my Lego! So, without further ado: Brickshelf Folder sort of thing Enjoy! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Very nicely done; a great combination of old and new. And welcome back to Lego! Quote
Tohst Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I love the new suits. How do you get the gold planet to look that gold? The ships are clean, which I like. Very nice and welcome back. -Tohst Quote
AgentRick Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Your ships are really cool, but I'm more interested in your Transformers ( link ). They're those large type of robots I know I could never make. Quote
Iron Moose Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Very neat. I dig the minifigures, too - are those decals? Quote
xenologer Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 The combo of that large sloping windshield with the modern giant wedge slops looks great. Have to think about trying that myself sometime. Quote
Siegfried Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Very nice blend! It's always nice to see ships with enough room in the rear for one of those engine things. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 These are both very impressive Librarian. I really like the way you designed the wings and included the yellow and black stripes from Classic Space. I'm really a "stud-on-top" builder, so when I see this kind of construction, I'm amazed and the design. As both ships are excellent, I'm not sure which one I like better. Your figs are equally nice. Overall, outstanding! Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 If TLG ever going to re-released a new Space theme, Neo Classic Space should be the one. From the minifigs to the spacecraft, the entire flow is wonderful. You have retain the looks of the early classic looks of the minifigs and at the same time, you managed to infuse newer appearence to it. This is a very good fusion. As for the spacecrafts, both are just so lovely with that white look and blue trans-crystal cover. I will love to have one of these and swoosh it around. Very orignal and creative. Thanks for sharing! Quote
Infomaniac Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 nice custom torsos I like the wind shield Infomaniac Quote
The Librarian Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 Thank you for the comments everyone! Excuse the long time before replying, I've had intermittent access to the internet since posting! Very neat. I dig the minifigures, too - are those decals? I love the new suits. The decals are sellotaped on for lack of alternatives but I think they still count as that. They were done in Photoshop. The gold looks gold because...um, it printed that way! Thanks for sharing! Thank you! I settled on white and dark blue because I'd used up most of my grey and wanted to be more interesting than just using plain old normal blue. I think it turned out rather well all told... Your ships are really cool, but I'm more interested in your Transformers ( link ). They're those large type of robots I know I could never make. Ah...yes...well...the larger ones are all broken up now but...well, guess where most of my grey bricks are now... :) Quote
