WesternOutlaw Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I thought it would be interesting to share a little mystery that I found on the web recently: A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream guy so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister. Question: What is her motive for killing her sister? The answer may surprise you... Quote
Dragonator Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Now that is a tricky one. Is it perhaps that her sister is a cross-dresser and was the guy she fell in love with? The pair hadn't seen each other in many years, and so this was why the woman didn't recognise her sister. Also, she wasn't expecting her sister to be dressed as a man. Then the woman murdered her sister because she was heart broken on discovering her dream man was in fact her cross-dressing sister. That sounds really silly, but then, I think it sounds likely. Quote
meschepers Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 (edited) I know the answer. I will wait until 10 people have posted replies and if none of them are correct I will put my answer in there. I actually got this one right the first time I saw it... does that mean I could be a psychopath? Edited September 6, 2008 by meschepers Quote

Shadows Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I also know this one, but I had to comment ... Now that is a tricky one. Is it perhaps that her sister is a cross-dresser and was the guy she fell in love with? Living up to your title, I see... Quote
Sandy Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 The only thing I could think of is that her sister had snatched the guy from her, but that's perhaps too obvious for an answer. Quote
Batbrick Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I love Draggy's theory, but I'll make up something different. The sister hired this guy to kill the mother and that is the reason he was there, upon discovering this, the woman totally shoves stake knife through her sister, but can never find the assassin... That or the sister was going out with him EDIT: Just looked up the answer, very nice. Batbrick Away! Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I know the answer! She thought the man might know her sister because he obviously new her mother and she thought the man would come to the sister's funeral I know the answer. I will wait until 10 people have posted replies and if none of them are correct I will put my answer in there. I actually got this one right the first time I saw it... does that mean I could be a psychopath? Well it is the psychopath test Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 This test was given to a number of serial killers, all of whom got the answer correct. It is also known as the Psychopath Test. Those that actually figure out the answer have a different way of thinking. People who read a lot of mysteries are also sometimes able to solve it. Upon first reading it, I failed. - but I would worry about those that mentioned that they know the answer. Quote
JimBee Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I would have no idea... bt if hollisbrick is right, then... how strange... Quote
WhiteFang Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Question: What is her motive for killing her sister? The answer may surprise you... I know the answer too.. Must we pm you the answer? It's sad to know that some of us got it right. Yes, Brickster is right. Only psycho criminals are able to get it correct. I was shocked when the true answer was revealed to me. It's a logical answer from their point of view. That is how the investigators get their facts and clues right to determine the killer' intention. Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 I would have no idea... bt if hollisbrick is right, then... how strange... What? Me a a psychopath? Who would have thought Quote
Adam Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 I know the answer, but won't spoil it. Dang! Now everyone knows about my... night job. Quote
Trexxen Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Yes, I got it right first time too. I do have a rather unhealthy obsession with weaponry - I have several swords, many knives, and spend my time bored looking up larger scale things (coughnukes!cough) =P ~Trexxen Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 Any of you who knows the solution can go ahead and share it on this message. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 I couldn't figure it out, then I looked it up and it seemed obvious. Ah well, at least it means I'm semi normal... Quote
JimBee Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Ah, I looked it up. hollisbrick was right. It's not a true test, it doesn't work. Says so at the bottom off the page. If you think about it, it's a really logical and obvious answer. Quote
iamded Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Oooh, hehehe, that's twisted. I had a bunch of crazy theories, but after looking up the answer it all became so obvious. Just because I got it wrong, doesn't mean I'm not crazy... ~Peace Quote
