HL2 MOC: post-apocalyptic Dodge

I decided to post some of my more diverse creations in different categories here on EB for those who are curious what themes I prefer, and what my building style is. The MOCs I have chosen might not be the most representative for my style of build, some might be even two years old, and some of my influence has changed since then. Despite the fact that these might not be the freshest of my creations, and some of you might have already seen them, I hope that you all enjoy them and gather inspiration from them.

Although I haven't played the later installments of Half-Life. After watching some trailers and in-game footage, one vehicle grabbed my attention.

It was Gordon's pimped and post-apocaliptized (?) Dodge challenger. This is the only real-life based (except for the post-apocalypse part :P ) car I have ever built.

I still have this mode built and displayed on one of my shelves.

But still, does it have only one seat? The car in HL2 Episode 2 seats two, Gordon and Alyx. (and a garden gnome, if you manage to keep it in the car )

It's still an impressive MOC though, very close match to the one in the game

This is all just fantastic. Perfect mix of grey and bley, and that engine is simply gorgeous. Excellent use of the elastic band holder piece.

Damn, that thing is lovely. The grey and bley mixing works very well, and I love the part technic, part yellow construction. Stunning work!

I should have been more explicit, it's not entirely based on the HL car, only 90% inspired by it. As you can see the in-game car doesn't have a gun on top either. As for the garden gnomes, shove 'em in the trunk

Pencoin: I'm not that crazy about using minifigs in my creations, that's why I'm not an avid builder of minifig scales mocs.
