So, for those of you paying attention to this, the secret Eurobricks competition has moved on to the next phase. For those of you who don't know, I'm running an elimination competition between anonymous Eurobricks members. The results will be posted in comic form like a reality show on my website. This time, the secret contestants were asked to build ruins and encouraged to be creative, using any theme they like. Here are the entries, choose your favorite:

Hmm, tough decision, but ultimately I went for 4 as to me it feels the most 'ruiney'. All crumbly and collapsed. The first entry would have gotten my vote, but it didn't look to ruined for me, more like the entry to some ruins or something. Number 6 is also very cool, it makes me want to see the rest of the dino.

Well this is tough. They're all great! I love number one, that statue is awesome, and the trees are really nicely done, although I agree with iamded that it doesn't look all that ruined. No 2 has some neat designs, and are those green BURPs and LURPs I see? :oh: I like the way the eyes have been done in no 3, and the little bow thing on the top is pretty cool. No 4 is great, with its crumbly architecture and slowly swallowing forest. No 5 has some great greenery, although I musty say that I'm not a huge fan of that baseplate. No 6 is cool with it's dino head and little statues, it does make you wonder what else there is hiding beyond the fallen head. No 7 is pretty neat to, I like the brick-built trees. IN the end though, my vote has to go to No 4. You've just got to love the skeleton arm sticking out from beneath the pillar, and it is reallt nicely designed and has a very ruined feeling to it. So, well done to all of you, whoever you are, and especially to no 4.

Oh look, I didn't even notice that! Bonus points!

hard choices... I hesitated between the 4 and the 3, but finally I choosed the 4 one, it really looks like "ruins" ^^

They all look great, simply because they're all so different from each other. Each one brings something unique.

I've voted 6. It may be the smallest, but I think it's interesting, and seeing the statues, there's a lot of potential for stories.

I voted for number one, it looks pretty cool (all do).

Does anyone else find the figure in number seven suspiciously familiar?

What are those brown pieces?

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... I mean, in the avatar...

It looks to be a saddle from Belville sets like the 7587 Pony Jumping, that´s been used so cunningly to look like a big bad-megablocks statues face !

As cute as the Hello Kitty ruin is, I just had to vote number 1. It's the most interesting out of the bunch, as it almost feels like a beginning of a story. The stone idol standing on guard at the entrance is quite impressive, although the medieval lionheads are perhaps a bit out-of-place there.

The entry number 5 would look intriguing if it weren't for the non-LEGO pieces used in it. They just spoil the mood of it!

Number 3 is just too plain for my taste, and the rest of them are quite small, so number 1 is the definite winner for me.

Do you mean this LEGO baseplate maybe :

It´s the real deal (even if it´s ugly!).

Pffft! :hmpf_bad: As if I would run a contest where non-LEGO pieces were allowed.

Well, Bionicle is LEGO only barely. The baseplate just isn't right for System-bricks, though - it honestly looks like a piece of Megablock or Playmobil!

Ahem...

And I went 4 # 4. It has the best ruin feel to it, and the detail like the skeleton arm and leg were great!

This is a hard decision, deciding whom I should cast my vote to. I will have to admit that number 1 has reminds me, of a boardgame which I played recently, called Incan Treasure or something like that. The built around the adventurer wandering deep into its dark entrance and tihs moc shows the exact feeling when I was playing that boardgame.

I love that Hello Kitty ruin.

It makes you think: Did aliens ('cause they built all ruins, you know :sadnew: ) watch TV or what  ?

I voted for number 1 as the temple was really nice!4 and 5 were nice too but 4 could have added like a bit more plants and 5 had too many plants!

I voted #4.

The deal was between #1 and #4, but #4 just had that great atmosphere, and it was much more ruin than #1.

But #1 is also great.

I voted for the first one.

Do you all see something SEXUAL on the first pic, or is it just me feeling horny again???

I mean, a Pirate entering with his longsword through the err...legs of the native statuewoman???

Those look great, well done mystery contestants!

I liked the temple entrance with the fertitlity goddess perched above in No. 1 and the clever use of saddles for carved faces in No. 2. The Hello Kitty style skull ruin in No. 3 made me smile! They're all good though was pretty tricky tring to decide which to vote for...
