Matn Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Wow! I really laught with this one. It turned a great smile on my face! I really like Top Gear, and you captured the whole serie very well. You did a great job on the 'tv-area' and the 'Stig-pole', great job. And that minifig convertible is also very nice, it resambles very well the Cool Convertible-set. Quote
graham g Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Brilliantly composed and played out. You can actually imagine them saying it all! Quote
BlueBard Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Amazing work, here! Specially with the tv-show part! I really love the seats and the crystal table, and, of course, that lovely cars Quote
Skinny Boy Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 After watching an episode an hour ago, I must say: Spot on. Thats one amazing convertible you got there. Almost too realistic. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Awesome much like Top Gear. The mini car was really great to but my favourite part had to be the grey from bley bit it cracked me up. Quote
Guss Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I really how you made it ^^ that's a really nice conversion to "minifig" size ^^ I also love the Top gear Show and the way you presented your mocs remind me a lot this show, great job ! I'll give you 19/10 for it ! really ! I loved both the moc and the presentation Quote
rriggs Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) Brilliant work! The minifig convertible is really great but the Top Gear episode is an absolute work of genius! Excellent portrayal of the presenters (and the Stig!) and a genuinely funny script. You have caught the essence of the show and the presenters personalities really well. Probably my only criticism would be that you clearly watch Top Gear as much as I do and that is simply far too much! Nice one! Cheers Rog Edited November 2, 2008 by rriggs Quote
randomparrot Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 HaHa i love that show. Iliked your james minifig Quote
Lasse D Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 Thanks for the positive comments It does take quite some time to present new MOCs this way, so it is always nice to know others liked it. Probably my only criticism would be that you clearly watch Top Gear as much as I do and that is simply far too much! The new season of Top Gear starts in less than 3 hours! It is impossible not to watch! Quote
Guss Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 The new season of Top Gear starts in less than 3 hours! It is impossible not to watch! arg!! and I don't have television :/ I think I'll have to wait to see it with my father Quote
AwesomeStar Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 arg!! and I don't have television :/ I think I'll have to wait to see it with my father No tv? Or are you like, young-ish? Or just don't have a tv? Quote
Guss Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I m 25 , I live in a little apartment with my girlfriend, and we have no-tv, because we don't watch tv, the only thing I watch on Tv is Top Gear, and she don't watch anything^^ so we don't need one ( we watch our DVD on our computers) Quote

Brickadier General Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Wow, I'm impressed by how well you made such a fine minifig-scale conversion of the bigger model. Gotta love the detailing and all the working features, such as the opening hood and moving convertible rooftop. Hope to see more vehicles from you in the future. Quote
