th_indexed.gif 9-12 pounders 10a; Misc. Guns 2c

Hello everyone, I just I'd share my cannon and Ribauldequin design with you. You may use both, as long as you give me some credit. :pir-classic:

Here's my 12 pounder, which I used in my PTV entry, "The Pirates of San Pedro". It's really quite simple...

And a rear shot...

And here's my Ribauldequin.

I know it's a bit medievel, but I thought it looked pretty good beside a 1700 century soldier.

Thanks for looking!

No one mentionied that soldier is very cool to :pir-sweet:

Cannonballs are little bit too big for this caliber, but it's still nice composition nevertheless.

The 12-pounder looks really interesting but I cannot see how the barrel connects to the truck. Is it just sitting there or is there a connection I am missing?

I was curious on that too.

Perhaps you can post an image of the 12 pounder, with one side removed?

Already thanks :pir-blush:

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm glad you like them.

Sure thing! Here you go...

Sorry about the bad picture quality, but I think it gets the message across. :pir-classic:

I used this piece to connect the barrel to the truck to keep the barrels rounded shape. The axles are cut flex tubes, in case you're wondering.

Like I said, you're welcome to use the design, as long as credit is given.

Very cool! For the axles, as you said they were cut flex tubes, but do you think a short bar (like the harry potter wands) would work? I might have to test this out.
