hopeso009 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Droideka is also known as Destroyer Droid Please refer to this web-site for Droideka information http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Droideka Let's have a look at LEGO official Droideka Here is my version of Droideka This brick built one is my attempt to prove that it is possible to build an in-scale Droideka with LEGO http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/127499 Quote
smiley905 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 cool, goodjob, i like the neck and head, not realy the colour though, but i guess its hard to find it in brown..? well keep building em Quote
Matteo Kenobi Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 You seem to really have a knack with these, and this one is no exception to awesome Yes the red back is a not the best but hey work with what you have :) Quote
darkrebellion Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 WOW!!! This is the best attempt in doing a Droideka , really good job hopeso009 . I think this is the pefect Droideka. It looks like perfect scale and I really like the little details. Deinitely your best minfigs MOC yet (But that doesn´t mean the others are non less awesome ). Quote
Ras 74 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Really great mocs all of them! I really like this building tequnice, even if I never should use it myself. But there is much joy to see how you guys out there keep doing mocs like this. Keep it up! -Ras- Quote
LuxorV Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I've always wanted to see a really good version of this one. I think TLG did its best with the first one; the new one isn't that good: too bulky Now on yours. I think you got it really good: the 'pelvis' is nice and not too big, so that it won't get in the way when it folds up (even if your's can't ). Moreover, the longer back leg gives it a good structure, very realistic. Finally, the arms are very posable, and again give the impression to be perfect for the folding up action. Great job, with the other droids too LuxorV Quote
Bobskink Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 It looks very good, it captures the essence and is in a much correcter scale than the ones we have now. Quote
legopiotre Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Once more, you did a really good job. A lot of interesting building techniques. The one I prefer is the magnaguard droid but the three droid are great ! Keep on showing us your work Quote
Asuka Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 A very clever work and a fine rendering of that Droideka which´s a pretty tough nut - LEGOwise... Quote
Future74 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Great work on all of them! Truly amazing on how simple yet how very effective these designs are. Keep it up! Quote
Bricks Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Well done! This is a really god job, your minifigures looks special and of course awesome. But it looks like it couldn't be used in the rollaway version. Maybe a challenge for the future? Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
-JD- Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Your mocs are flippin' sweet! Keep up the good work and TLC will get jealous! JD Quote
