luna Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Hi, Maybe you are one of those who bought the clone walker battle pack just for the figs and now you need new ideas what to do with the other pieces. This is what I made from two battle packs. I only used the pieces from those two sets. unused pieces: Quote
DarthSion Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Looks kool, but looks top heavy, like it needs a 3rd leg like an ATAP Quote
luna Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Looks kool, but looks top heavy, like it needs a 3rd leg like an ATAP It doesn't fall over if you mean that: Quote
ADHO15 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 That looks great! An alternative to my MOC that I posted. Could you take more pictures during building so we can see how to make it? I would love to have a go. Quote
General Magma Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Looks very cool, great job. But could we have instructions for it? I would like to have some, as I am getting 10 Clone BP's in a few months and I will be able to make 5. Quote
-JD- Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Nice moc. The only thing is that the legs are too thin. Get another BP and do the modifications. I need to use this design! JD Quote
voltio Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Agreed, kudos to making a design quite improved on the original. I would love to see some interior shots to get a better idea of how the body fits together. I plan on making at least one of these! Quote
halomaster96 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Looks great. Could you post pics that we could use as instructions? Quote
CloneMe Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 That looks great. It does look a little top heavy so I might try something like this and add an extra leg. So basically 3 packs. Quote
pdragon27 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Nice. It looks kinda like an AT-XT. I might try this..... . This is very impressive for an alternate model. Quote
ROCON Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Darn it, should've gotten two more battle packs instead of the bomber. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Looks good but I think the front armor is sticking out too much Quote
luna Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) thanks. I also think that there is indeed room for improvement, but using more or different pieces would defeat the purpose of modding the battle pack. You could certainly make it bigger using more battle packs. I'm eagerly looking forward to that Venator cruiser. Maybe I'll get some more crew for it The build goes like this: Edited February 10, 2009 by luna Quote
ADHO15 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Thanks so much for the instructions. I will have a go at building it now. Quote
Loganwan Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Thank you for posting your instructions. I have four of them, and was wondering if there was something to do with them since I don't need four of them tooling around my battle area. Quote
iH Master 13uilder17 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 great, like a small AT-ST. Quote
halomaster96 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Thank you so much for the instructions. Now I have something to do with my 10 useless clone walkers. Quote
ADHO15 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I built it this afternoon but it's much more fragile and flimsy than I expected, unfortunately. The roof breaks when I try to open it and the back panel keeps falling off. Oh, well, I'll just re-build my MOD. Thanks again for sharing the design, though Quote
Skipper 24 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 This is quite amazing considering it is only made of the pieces from the 2 sets. A great MOC indeed . Quote
Oky Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Hey wow, that looks pretty good! It looks like a small, one-man AT-PT. Makes more sense if you think about it. Much less chance that the driver get shot. Thanks for the instructions too! Quote
