Yanzl Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 V-LV-27C An SUV I made. It's 5-wide and can sit one minifig. Quote
BlueBard Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Lovely car, interesting 5-wide technique and nice touch with the mirrors Quote
Asuka Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Very smooth and nicely shaped. The few still visible studs´re adding some extra charm, and there´re some cool details like the central pillar and these side mirrors. However... I´m still a sucker for car doors... Quote
Carbohydrates Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Very nice. I'm a big fan of odd width designs. In fact, I think an odd stud width vehicle contest would be great for the Trains and Town subforum! Asuka, you really do like doors, don't you? I've seen you mention 'em in the last three threads I clicked! Quote

prateek Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 that's awesome!! both the SUV and the disappearing door Quote
legofan Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 What a smart looking Red SUV!! Wonderful work there! Thanks for sharing!! Quote
Yanzl Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Thanks everyone and the mirrors are not my idea, I've seen it somewhere else. Quote
Eilif Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Well Done. Reminds me of a subaru, or some of the other more station-wagon-ish SUV's that seem to be appearing these last few years. Quote
rriggs Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Nice MOC but I think that it currently looks more like an SUV/car crossover (like the Dodge Caliber or Nissan Qashqai). To make it look more SUV-like I think you need to add a plate (or two?) between the chassis and the wheels. SUVs have ground clearance. Cheers Rog Quote
