New and old cannons

I really like the new Lego Pirates cannons. And in my

opinion new cannons are much better than the old ones.

That is why I have build this vignette.

Captain: This cannon must shine. There is an inspection tommorow. Look at the new cannon. They must look equal!

Private: Aye captain..Grrrr...

I like the metallic coloured ones more then the pale dark grey ones.

But I haven't new cannons yet and just before the new pirate's line was released I purchased 20 pale dark grey ones.

So I'm not really in the need of new cannons.

Nice vignette by the way. The story is funny too.

I really like the bubble near to the old canon !

I have to admit that the new canon have a really great color. In my opinion, it is more realistic than the old one.

I didn't try to compare their range of action, but I guess it's the same.

I just would like that new cannon were engrave with Imperial logo.

I just realize that if they have to look equal, the private can better take a brush and start painting the cannon base.

I don't use molded cannons. I make them, using basic parts. They include the carriage ,wheels and the gun on top. But I do like the gun metal because it adds realism.

Great Moc! I agree, the New Cannons are good, but I like the brown Cannon Carraige from the old cannons better. I like the faces you used for the minifigures. Great job!

Nice MOC! I would have to say that the new cannons are great, but if I were going to make a pirate ship, I would either use old cannons or new cannons. But not both.
