74louloute Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 This is my latest creation : Red Light District Formerly, the sherif used to be the guarantor of the security and the peace in the city. Unfortunately, now he is totally outstriped... All he can do is watching the mess spread the city directed by women... (Skull idea from SlyOwl) Full gallery is here Thanks for watching and/or comments! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 That's fantastic and so funny. You did a really great job with all the action sequences in the MOC. Those are some angry and tough women. Look out! How do you produce the shudder effect the the angled brown 1 x 2 tiles on the wall?. I've seen SlyOwl do that in his MOC's as well? Quote
BlueBard Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Amazing and hilarious work! I really like the moving atmosphere and the guy with the barrel it's simply priceless Quote
Quarryman Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Oh wow, that's a great scene Lots of great details, love the guy in tar and feathers And very nice decals too, overall just excellent, can't think of anything to change. Though, the barrel the guy is running with is perhaps a bit big, but a regular 2x2 barrel would probably be too small, so the current solution is quite sufficient. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 (Skull idea from SlyOwl) These are pure win! Awesome man in barrel, and the skull idea of Sly is pulled off well too, Well done on creating a fantastic MOC! Quote
Guss Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I just told you on Legopirate, but the man in the barrel is awesome, and the roof of the building is really nice! there is a lot of nice details in your scene, great job! Quote
Perterz Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 This really does justice to my childhoods' favorite theme, really well done. I like the chaos and details like the skull and the man in the barrel. The Saloon itself looks superb. What's that chrome piece(s)? Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) That's a great Western scene, 74louloute! It looks very funny! The details are very well built. I especially like the printings on the saloon - they look perfect and like official stickers! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter Edited May 5, 2009 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
74louloute Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Thanks for all your comments ! How do you produce the shudder effect the the angled brown 1 x 2 tiles on the wall?. I've seen SlyOwl do that in his MOC's as well? SlyOwl shared his technic a few month ago, but I can't find the picture. In my case, it's made like a 2x2 tiled stairs and fixed to the floor with a hinge. What's that chrome piece(s)? These chrome pieces come from a model team set : 5541 Blue Furry Quote
Brickmaster Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Amazing array of details, and excellently built with some great and new techniques. All the essences of a great moc! Awesome job. Quote
Batbrick Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Oh, that is brilliant! I love all the little details, like the skull, man in a barrel ( ), charred man (love the use of white plumes there) and the awesome decals. The figs are all positioned greatly, and the saloon consturction is very nice, the parts that aren't destroyed anyway! Hope to see more! Batbrick Away! Quote
NewRight Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I can't help, but laugh when I see this. So many great detail. My favorite part has to be the man with the barrel over him. Quote
