Spyder Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) Three words: That is AMAZING! I the huge dinosaur skull, and those cracks in the wall are beautiful. It's a great MOC for your first on Eurobricks. EDIT: Darn! I forget to comment on the technique you used to make the roof. Soooo, Great job on the roof. Where did you get all those burgundy slopes? ZeeK Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) Three words: That is AMAZING! Absolutely!!! Unbelievable MOC (i'm proud to be the person who saw THIS with my own eyes)the technique you used to make the roof. Soooo, Great job on the roof. Where did you get all those burgundy slopes? Looks like the author has managed to buy all slopes in our local unofficial pick-a-brick. Now there's a "deserted bricks bin" left in the store :) Edited May 19, 2009 by kobe Quote
Batbrick Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Spectacular moc, I love the way you've done the cracks in the walls and the dragon skull is awesome, really huge. The detail is immense, I can really picture the battle that went on here. Definitely a unique moc, well done! Batbrick Away! Quote
Sandy Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 A fantastic creation with many great techniques used in it - I personally haven't even seen a roof done like that before! There's also a nice amount of randomness thrown in to the mix. I have to admit that I love the cracks on the walls, and I will shamelessly copy the technique from you to use in my own creations. The giant dragon skull is gorgeous, although it looks a bit off-scale in comparison to the building. Surely a monster of that scope would've razed the castle to the ground before dying, eh? Quote
Guss Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 A stunning creation ! I love the skeleton , the broken part of the tower.. well, almost everything ^^ Quote
BlueBard Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Amazing castle ruins! Love the detailed fissures in the walls and, of course, that brilliant dinosaur/dragon skull Quote
ZeeK Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Surely a monster of that scope would've razed the castle to the ground before dying, eh? May be the monster actually did ruined the rest of the castle before the brave hero had chopped the creature's head off with the giant magic sword that vanished instantly? And now only the hero's remains by the tower can tell the whole story? Quote
Zorro Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 This looks very good, the cracks in the walls are amazing and your eye for detail are so as well. Well done ! Quote
Dadster Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Love it! The roof on the "tower" is really neat and I'm def stealing that "crack in the wall" idea. Quote
Dutch Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 That is amazing for your first post and by the way welcome to eurobricks. I am so loving that skull and those cracks in the wall. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I must agree with everyone! This is beautiful MOC! And I never saw this roof technicue before! Quote
Dr. Steve Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 The cracks in the walls are Very Good, Very real!!! The tiled floor looks great Quote
supertoad64 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 very cool. the cracks look great and the whole thing sort of reminds me of ultima vii, for some reason, which i really love Quote
TomC Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 This Moc gets a "Wow" from me. I love the crack. tc Quote
Izzy Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Incredible! I think you will have alot to teach us! I especially love the broken wall in the fifth picture. It is ingenious. WELCOME to EB... long may you stay here! Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Very good creation. I like the red roof and the cracks in the walls to mention something. Quote
harrysnapperorgans Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Absolutely!!! CommanderFox Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 What's a 'unofficial' P-A-B? I think he means a store with a P-A-B which isn't the official Lego one. Amazing MOC LakMause I really like the roof technique and the tiled floor! The dragon scull is cool aswell. Really nice job with this! CommanderFox Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Very nice! Great roof technique, and the dinosaurus skull is awesome. But the most favorite part is the big crack in the wall. So realistic! Great job! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Ditto Ditto on the crack in the wall and roof construction, fantastic. But what is the chained mechanism for ? Looks like there was once a great battle there, but now only the bleached bones of the dead lie there. Edited December 11, 2009 by lightningtiger Quote
Milan Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 WOW! Man! Just one word...great, great and great That wall crack is beautiful! Very cool! Quote
DaleDVM Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 The roof is ingenius. a long while ago I was putting those pieces together for a roof but hated the unfinished look of the exposed studs along the ridge of the roof. So I just gave up on the idea. Those simple 1x1 round plates make it look just fine. Kudos to you it turned out fantastic. Quote
