Captain Blackmoor Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Hello there! I don't know if this has been posted before but it's never too late to try. I've found this when I was uploading pics to Brickshelf. And I thought perhaps you guys would like it. Enjoy! Overview. And the back of the castle. More pictures are on Brickshelf! Quote
blueandwhite Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 It's a very nice mid-sized castle. I love the sally port on the back of the castle. It's a nice touch that adds a bit of character to an already nice castle. The front towers are also quite attractive. The only thing I'm not fussy about is the mixture of grey & bley. On their own each colour looks fine, but I'm not a fan of mixing the two. Old grey looks dirty/warn out against the newer grey and new grey (bley) comes across as a bit too metalic IMO. It's a wonderful castle nonetheless with a warm and cozy feel. Quote
Zorro Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I recognize it from somewhere, but it does look amazing! This sure is a piece of art of an experienced builder ! Quote

Using different grey colors gives a wall a very nice texture and an immediatly recognizable look of masonry. Quote
Millacol88 Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 I disagree on that one. Using different grey colors gives a wall a very nice texture and an immediatly recognizable look of masonry. I'm with you there. Definitely looks like a "brick and mortar" building. Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Multiple grays are what really makes this castle stand out. I wish I could remember where I have seen this before. It is a great midsize castle! Quote
