hewkii9 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I'm back, with a bit more than Doctor Who minifigs! We've all got our own little theories as to just how the Fifth Doctor saved the universe with a kettle and some string - some say the Looms, others cry 'Rani!', but this is how I think it went. The Master's hypnosis machine Tegan being chased by the Turkoon The Doctor being lowered down the string by Nyssa A back view of the scene ...who's this? Looks like the universe might need a teensy bit more saving Tegan, the Doctor, and Nyssa The Master and his Turkoon homie The Brickshelf gallery, available when public Enjoy! Quote
SWMAN Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 While this does have some Historical aspects to it, this really belongs in the Lego Sci-Fi and/or Licensed Forum. Quote

hewkii9 Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 Well, now that this is here, someone'll notice the other four minifigures, and, well, everything that's not the satellite, and say that it should belong in Historical Themes. Quote

No they won't; the staff have already discussed this topic! It's a nice MOC too... but I must confess that I missed most of the 5th Doctor episodes. I missed most of the 5th and 6th, and didn't start watching them until the 7th and last Doctor. Quote
Svelte Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 The dark brown Mutt hair for Tegan is perfect! She needs the cranky face from the Carousel set to truly express her inner whininess though. What's the kettle and string reference to? It sounds vaguely familiar, but talk of Lungbarrovian Looms and suchlike is confusing me... And the Turkoon are hilarious! Quote
hewkii9 Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 What's the kettle and string reference to? It sounds vaguely familiar, but talk of Lungbarrovian Looms and suchlike is confusing me... The Tenth Doctor mentioned it to Five in Time Crash, I had no parts to build a full TARDIS or any wholly new Doctors, and decided to tell that little story. I also got lucky with Tegan's hair, as it's one of the few hair pieces I do own! And the staff themselves discussed my creation? I'm insanely flattered! Quote
